Are you all sure that the Omega AT in Skyfall is the 38,5 mm and not the 42 mm?

So...you are saying that as you look at so many watches you now prefer something different - that being this Urwerk thing ? :p It just looks like a kids toy, I'd expect it to squirt water :))

Markus, a watch should tell the time - and maybe show the date too - nothing else....there is a lot to be said for understated elegancy... B-)

Yes, I do like the AT...it's design is simple and it's all the better for it....then, even when I'm pi$$ed I can still tell the time :))

    Hey Sir Miles,

Thought, that that watch may interest you - I am sure, that that's more your style:

I don't doubt that, but in the pic it looks black not blue, or my eyes are just squiffy :s

I know that pic but I am not sure, which watch we see there...

I am not even sure, if it's a set pic or not a DC shot from a fashion magazine (editorial), that has been photosopped into that image
The car looks a bit like a model car imo.

Well, I know them all! The good ones and the bad ones.

As you don't enjoy my Urwerk affection, I thought that it may have something to do with your eyesight (we all get old, particularly yourself :D ) I thought that I show you something easy to read :))

It's a still from the movie and the picture can be found in the June edition of Total Film magazine and the watch is clearly seen to be the BLUE aqua terra. The picture uploaded onto this site doesn't give a clear indication as it came up small but I have the magazine and it is very clear to see the watch he's wearing.

The watch in the photo is clearly the Aqua Terra. The shade of blue on the dial of the watch is similar to that of the current Aqua Terra Olympics 2012 edition. Go down to a local Omega boutique and take a look at the blue on the Olympics 2012 Aqua Terra. Thats how the blue will be on the Skyfall watch. Depending on the light and angle, it may look dark blue or black while from other angles, it will look very blue... Its really very nice.. I saw both the gents and ladies Olympics 2012 Aqua Terra and was really mesmerized by it... Looking forward to seeing the Skyfall Aqua Terra in person...

The first of two watches James Bond will wear in Skyfall, the other one will be the Aqua Terra. This here is the Planet Ocean 8500 which he will wear in the opening scenes of the movie >>> http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/seamaster/planet-ocean/23230422101001

Hey, can anyone tell me when Bond wore the Aqua Terra in Skyfall? I've seen that movie dozens of times and all I've ever noticed is the Planet Ocean.

I believe it was after he got back from Turkey and started his tests with MI6, but I might be wrong. It wasn't as in your face as the shots of the PO.

Looking at the recent Omega watches I recall that the blue wave 300m Seamaster that Brosnan wore was a work of art. Omega seem to have lost their way since then. I wouldn't wear the successive watches even if I found them in the $2 shop!

Technically, Omega watches are now light years ahead of that old thing. It might have looked good, but that was about it.

That may very well be the case, but you can say the same about Rolex, and yet they have kept a very similar, classic look for over half a century. So why not improve technically and keep the beatiful look, instead of those new, horrible hands and faces? And I'm not even referring to the special editions with the unnecessary 007 bling.

There are tons of Rolex fans who detest the new Submariners and think they are too blingy (ceramic, bigger lugs etc)

I detest the new Rolex's. They are too big square, generic and blingy. :D I have the new Sub and I really don't like it. The PO looks a much nicer and refined watch. And I can't believe I'm saying that as I'm 100% in the Rolex camp.

I prefer the old POs then the new ones look wise!!

Big fan of the new Rolex to an extent dependant on model however would still love an older sub!

Im with you on that Jag, the vintage SMP is much nicer than the newer one, the PO is nice, but the AT is an old mans watch :D
