bond air gun

Does anyone know which of the bond replic aguns ( air soft or air gun) came with Best of the Best written on the barrell and with a JB007 related number ? Are they rare / Were they made by Walther or Umarex ? Can you get silencers etc for them. many thanks

The PAK P99 in question was made by Umarex and branded with the Walther banner. The pistol was forward venting making it rare depending in which country you are based. It came as standard from the factory in a fitted case with a dummy metal silencer and a DVD showing the trials the real firearm P99 was put through. There was an airsoft version which had the Her Majesty's Secret Intelligence Service engraving in place of The Nothing But the Best for the Best engraving. This version came cased with either a copy of Tomorrow Never Dies or The World is Not Enough on VHS video cassette

PPW / Many thanks this is exactly what I was looking for. I have been offered the air gun as you describe ( not the air soft). It does come in the walther case with silencer and DVD and funnily enough a laser light sight and it does have best of the best written on the barrell. The seller is telling me that its very rare and especially so as it comes with a silencer which most do not apparently. I was wondering what its worth potentially and would welcome any thoughts you may have on the matter. many thanks

Well again it comes down to what country you are in. Here in the UK I have not seen that engraving on the co2 powered pistol known as the CP99 which you can pick up around the £100 or less mark. I would say with the addition of a factory silencer in factory case that could add a further £50 to the base price possibly. The silencer is not going to make a great deal of difference to an airgun noise wise as its mainly for cosmetic effect. The Bond silencer is loosely based on this design but were custom made for Casino Royale. To get a better idea of value try "Umarex CP99" on google.

I think I am perhaphs getting myself confused over whether its a blank firer or an air pistol or air soft pistol. I think I should clarify first with the seller. Just to clarify your comments though are you saying that if it has best of the best written on the barrell its likley to be a blank firer as opposed to an air soft or air pistol ?

Umarex has launched the Walther special editions as blank fire (front venting) and CO2 air pistols.
