    Alot of these fan art are very good, and I wouldn't mind having any of them hanging in my room. I can assure you, I cannot do any of these things, even if you taught me twice. But it looks great.

    It's AMAZING how you manage to put together the Skyfall context. Brilliant job mate.

    Hey all, it's good to be back after a few years. To celebrate, I've designed a poster for Skyfall! -{

    There is much to like about this fan poster, I think it`s stylish and it`s a good idea to see the London skyline. Making the gunbarrel into a moon is also a good idea because of the title Skyfall. I have two problems with it. First, James Bond stands at a weird angle. Obviously it`s the same angle as the skyline, but does it have to be?
    The other thing is the likeness to the poster for "Gangs of New York".
    Still, it`s one of the best Skyfall posters I have seen. I want to see a version where Bond is standing straight and not in that angle.

    In the origional post I actually wrote "it`s a goof idea to see the London skyline" :))

    That second one is immense. Nice work to all! -{

    @Jamesbondagent007 - That is a fantastic poster.. I LOVE the London skyline, that then represents the blood flowing.... I have to agree that the angle of Bond is a bit off... However, I can hardly criticise... as this is really good and I wouldn't know where to start! :D

    I`ve come to the conclution that this poster is different enough from the Gangs of New York poster for it not to matter. In this poster the skyline is upside down and at an angle. I agre with Lexi that the blood-like effect is great. The moon/gunbarrel effect is also brilliant. Please, just turn the image of Bond and I`ll be happy!

    Thanks for the critiques and compliments!

    Here's an updated version with some of the changes requested.

    Very nice! I can't decide if I prefer Bond upright or at the original angle, which complements the skyline nicely.

    Very good! Perhaps the best Skyfall poster yet.
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,334MI6 Agent
    Do you think the red blood over the gunbarrel/moon should be darker? Perhaps it's too close to pink and doesn't go well with the darker colour tones of the rest of the poster.

    Incredible work, everyone. I wouldn't have a clue where to start even if I used my very best crayons, the ones I only break out at Christmas. Fantastic stuff.

    Nice, but in real life, Westminster Abbey and the Mi6 building aren't situated next to each other. In fact, from the point of view that Bond's looking at Westminster Abbey, the Mi6 building should be on the left (not the right) and a few km down the road.
    Just being a nob, the poster is great. -{

    Yeah, I don't think the poster is supposed to imply that it is an accurate depiction of their relevance or that the MI6 building got moved. :))

    That kind of poster or teaser poster I like most, when you see half of the face, or Bond in the dark, shadow, etc. ..is more mysterious, not you think?

    I like the poster ( Great work ) and think the two Buildings represent Bonds Choice, of
    His Country or The Service "Make your Choice " :D

    Then again I might be reading too much in to It. :))

    To be honest, I didn`t like this one. Just a big picture of Bond holding a submachinegun in front of some neon lights. Not nearly enough class and imagination.
  • oscar rubiooscar rubio Madrid (Spain)Posts: 286MI6 Agent
    The image of Bond with the machine gun has seen much, and it sounds topic, I prefer the pictures in the one with the walther gun

    Anyone else think his face looks super young in the poster above?^

    I saw a fan poster on Commander Bond. I didn`t like the poster much, but I loved the idea. It had the words "Keep calm and battle on" as the tag line, obviously a variation of the 1939 war poster "Keep calm and carry on".
    I agree on the change. Carry On reminds people of the series of comedy movies, and battle sounds more Bondian. Using this patriotic slogan fits well with the theme of "England and MI6 under attack, let`s fight back" in Skyfall. It should also continue the character arc where Bond becomes a calmer, more calculating and sofisticated agent. I would like a poster where we see a calm,but focused and threatening Bond, the Skyfall logo above his head and the tag line accross his chest. A bit like a recruiting poster, such as the WWI "We want YOU!"

    I was thinking of the attack on HQ of MI6, and that`s in England. But you are right, I should have written UK. Hat I really want to know is: Do you like the idea?

    Not an attack on MI6 HQ and no slogan/tag line but I think you will like this.

    The problem isn't so much with the 'Carry On' part of the title, it's the Keep Calm section. In recent years, for some really unknown reason, that famous war poster has come back with a vengeance, but plastered over birthday cards and t-shirts all with variations on the "Keep Calm" theme, such as "Eat Chocolate", "Drink Gin" and the like...

    keepcalm.jpg

    The Keep Calm tag is now more Carry On than Carry On, if that makes sense :s
