Pictures of the North East James Bond Holiday Gathering!

The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
It's that time of year...hard to believe we are on our 10th year, but what a great way to spend a Saturday and usher in the 50th Anniversary Year of Bond! For those first timers, I am located about forty minutes north of Philadelphia and about ninety minutes south of New York City.

Come enjoy food, drink and fun with friends to celebrate the holidays...Bond Style! Tour the collection and bring your own goodies to show off...or just come to ogle and chat. Relaxed day with old and new friends!

If you wish to attend please PM me on the board or email me at dzaritsky@msn.com

    David,

Just wanted to thank you for opening your home to all us AJB folks. Unfortunately, I'm still here in Afghanistan and won't return till next Jan. I would have loved to attend and meet you and the others in person. Perhaps some other time in the near future. Happy Holidays.

I'm glad I took a second look at this, I thought it was for Jan 1 like last year. I see it is this Sat, Dec 10. I will clear my schedule. David, I will email you if I can make it.

I went to the last one and it was great. David's "museum" is one of a kind and will keep you occupied for hours.

PM me your address in Afghanistan and some items you and your unit need. My VFW would be honored to send you guys some care packages. I did two tours in Iraq so I know what it's like being away from home.

Things are shaping up nicely for Saturday...about 15 people coming in all, it seems...there will be a poker game with a grand prize (Bond stuff of course)...also, for those that can stand the cold, perhaps some cigars on the deck with some single malts...bring your mittens!
  • Donald GrantDonald Grant U.S.A.Posts: 2,251Quartermasters
    Ooh, single malts. Sounds excellent!

Ready for tomorrow's mission. Magnetic tracker in place. See you on the deck.

No live stream? Okay, maybe next year...

Cheers from the Veneto region, gang! Next time, I'll bring some "fine wine", even though I only drink cheap wine (it's ALL good here).

Looks like you all had a blast!

Any excuse to play cards, whip up some cocktails and share a cigar by the fire is more than enough to get me out of the house! Love the Casino Royale chips. Who won the game?

Ahhh, gotcha...will work on a non-FB album. BTW, texas007, everyone loved your Mcginnis picture in my office...actually gathered a crowd around it!

Yes, the McGinnis poster was fabulous as was the framing. I was part of the crowd, I had not seen this painting before, and it was just stunning. It looked good in David's "command office."
