Hello all, Im in need of your help, I have found what I deem to be a good deal on an Omega Seamaster, $1000 CDN for a full size automatic watch. Check out the pictures and let me know if you think that it is a glaring fake. The guy has the original box, but no papers so I am slightly skeptical about it all. Also is this the correct Bond watch from the Brosnan years, thanks so much!

on a serious note, get the seller to show you a pic of the serial number. flip the watch over, and on the bottom right of the casing, not the back, the actual case, there should be engraved a serial number. i think the watch may be traced with this, but not 100% on that.
i've seen a few good fakes, but many show they're replicas by the state of the back of the watch.
personally i wouldnt buy any omega without seeing it in person first, especially if the warrenty cards etc weren't present.
theres no reason why these shouldnt be there, especially if the seller has the box.
i would be extremely cautious if I were you.

But even if it's real, it might be stolen, and you never know if someone wrote the serial number and they find the watch, you could lose it.
Very good advice indeed. If you haven't already, you might want to look at http://forums.timezone.com and look in the sales corner. The members there are very good at policing the sellers on that site and are available to answer any questions you might have. Good luck.

Seriously: If the seller is no able to provide you with better pics - forget it!
And it seems to be a fake to me also.
And I wonder, how Pete's snot bit went under the crystal...

That said, the seller needs to send you better pictures in much better lighting conditions and as previously mentioned a photo of the serial number on the back that you can at least check on some of the other watch forums if not with Omega themselves.
