Ah, the Philippines, the land of my birth where I return again and again! As new ritual of sorts, I've read a Young Bond novel at the beach or pool side while on vacation there, and I'm actually saving "Danger Society" for the next time, which I pray is soon. Bondmania was very much alive in the Philippines, with it's peak in the 60's and 70's. Apart from that film by an entertaining legend still alive today, there actually was a series of films that featured "Agent X44," who, not exactly being Bond, I guess would be more like a Derek Flint. I remember catching reruns of these movies on TV as a kid and seeing Agent X44 executing deadly judo chops and practically floating still in the air with his flying kicks.

During the 80's, when I returned to the Philippines for my high school years, there were these half-page newspaper ads for some sort of alchoholic drink like whiskey or bourbon that featured a Connery look-a-like, particularly as Bond in his 40's. If I remember correctly, there was a write-up about the model who actually lived in the Philippines, but I just don't remember if he was an expat or if he was of Filipino descent.

Back on the subject of collectibles, in a stationary supply shop in the Philippines I did see these non-descript James Bond rubber bands that have been featured in a few Bond collectible sites:
