To anyone in the UK or anyone outside who has access to BBC iPlayer, take a look at BBC2 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/search?q=tosca

A complete rendition of the Tosca opera at the Royal Opera House as seen in Quantum of Solace.

My daughter misheard the title and said " Don't tell me they have an opera about Tesco " :#

Get the live Dvd from Bregenz if you want the same scenery as in QoS

As excellent a production as this was, I actually preferred ENO's a year or so ago... but maybe that's just because I went to see that one live!

Either way her death was unsatisfying in this one!

I am attending a traditional production of Tosca in a few weeks time. Although familiar with the storyline, I am only vaguely familiar with the music so it will be a good introduction. Not generally being terribly fond of modern/arty renditions of classics, if I enjoy the original I may take a look at the modern production that featured in QoS. I plan on attending the show with a small Q pin in my lapel and an ear piece.
