Roger Moore was on hand to set a digital timer on a golden briefcase containing the first copy of the Bond 50 Blu-ray collection before it embarks on a journey the length of Great Britain in an Aston Martin DBS, the car featured in Quantum of Solace. The car and Blu-ray box set is scheduled to start it's week long road trip on September 17 beginning from Eilean Donan Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The case is also scheduled to be carried by Britt Ekland, Shirley Eaton, Tania Mallet, Eunice Gayson, Richard Kiel, Lindy Hemming, Paul Weston and John Glen.

Not impressed, how the hell are you supposed to store it? Will not fit with other BRs, looks too wide to fit with books, just leave it lying on the coffee table?
I don't know about this 50th set guys. I was hoping for something well done like the Harry Potter Wizards Collection. At least a page for each movie with some details/credits since it's packaged in a book. I do like the year thing with the main Bond girl. But right now I'm leaning towards a cancel or return when I get my set. I'm even seeing a few other forum posts about bad/old transfers on these.
Got an email from Sainsubrys Entertainment yesterday to say my copy has shipped Looking forward to a Bondathon with some friends before the release of Skyfall.
Here are two lovely photo's of Britt Ekland, Eunice Gayson, Tania Mallet and Richard Kiel. They were at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire yesterday on the latest leg of the Blu-ray tour.

I see what you mean. Hard to know where you're gonna put it, and you'd imagine them to come with individual boxes.
Here are some comparisons posted above, yet they seem a tad unrealistic to me. I guess the inferior ones are the DVDs? But they seem rougher than they surely are?
The price for the Blu-Ray set has just dropped to $149.99 on Amazon.com.
It's $149.99 at Best Buy, too. I don't know why anyone would order it online and wait for the mail when you can just walk into a store (as I have just done) and have it right away.

In anticipation of the Blu-Ray release, here's an interview from IGN with Campbell, Glen, and Apted. Nothing really groundbreaking, but still interesting.
Just an FYI, the release week price usually only lasts through for the first week in the US. The prices usually go up and stay there for a very long time for those who miss the first week.
I suggest you buy this week if you plan on even getting it in the next few months.
I went out and picked up the new box set for 149.99 at Best Buy tonight, despite owning the other blu-ray boxsets. That was just to good a price for me to pass up for all 22 films.

Easy question!
OHMSS for me and then YOLT and Octopussy
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Yeah I also think OHMSS too, however the other two I think not

Hopefully that won't happen to this
