Differences in coat

Are the coats in the black and white scene in CR and the final scene in QOS the same ?
If not what are the differences and are they both pea coats or is one something different ?

The coat at the end of QoS is a Tom Ford limited overcoat with a zig zag herringbone type pattern in wool. The one at the beginning of CR is different as the QoS one was created for the film and then went to a limited release afterward.

They are completely different.

The QoS Coat is a Tom Ford Overcoat (not Peacoat).

Still a bit confused on which one is a pea coat and what the other one is called so I can find budget ones.

Jon, if you're looking on a budget, have you tried ebay? Or even google (shopping tab)?

Just search 'black peacoat' and 'black wool overcoat' and it will get you started in the right direction.

A peacoat is a casual coat around the same length as a suit coat, but it is traditionally very heavy. A peacoat isn't shaped through the body. An overcoat is long and can be worn more formally. More formal overcoats are longer and have more shape. Overcoat is a general category that includes many different styles. The overcoat in Quantum of Solace is inspired by the greatcoat.

CHEAP alternative of Kazan coat (but probably not the best quality). But for the price, it's probably the best alternative!
