Hi guys, a mate of mine has been through a tough time and I'm thinking of making him a darth vadar light sabre.

Has anyone got any good plans and pics of it to help me do it?

While I don't have plans for a custom lightsaber, I can recommend Hasbro's Force FX line of replicas. They make a Darth Vader model that comes with a nice, metal hilt and all kinds of light and sound effects. I own just about the entire line and I'll tell you, once you hold one of these babies in your hands you'll quickly realize that they are not toys.

Here's a link to Amazon.com's page; you can find more info on the web by searching Darth Vader Force FX

Cool, thanks for the suggestion, but I sadly ain't got £130 to blow on my pal's pick me up. The idea was to build my own, a much cheaper option for me, but obviously for that I need plans and reference material.

I'm just mulling this idea over for now, so I'll see if anyone can help put before ordering materials etc.

I appreciate the time and help though people.

I have one of those. They are very well done. Sort of fell out of interest in it, but it wasn't the saber's fault.

    Good luck minigeff
