I'm guessing the stunt guy on top of the Range Rover is actually driving the vehicle. Typically I've have seen cars being towed and not actually driven. Cool.

How much do you think all this is just another bunch of Internet/Tabs out of context nonsense? We know so little of the plot points ....we have no real context to put these tiny tidbits that we get. Hopefully we will be getting more of a "thriller" than just a straight up mindless action flick.
Not "Moneypenny" however. I think I may have read what the surname is somewhere (maybe right here) but it was humorous and very much in the Fleming tradition.

A movie production firm has pulled out of location filming in the Brecon Beacons that sparked speculation it was shooting for the new James Bond film.
The film company, which has not declared its identity or details about the film, had asked to use Mynydd y Llan near Llandovery.
"Logistical filming factors" have been blamed for the company pulling out.
The park authority, which had fast-tracked the planning request, said it was "incredibly disappointed".
There had been speculation the filming would have been for the new James Bond movie, Skyfall.
The unnamed film firm had told the park authority's planning officer's that it intended to bring in 200 people for the production near Myddfai, Carmarthenshire.
The agent for the film company involved had said it could spend up to £1.4m locally.
It has said it was looking for access to the land for a period of three months, along with permission to create a chapel and manor house. Filming would take place over three weeks.
Any location work would have needed the approval of the Welsh government but that approval is no longer required.

A spokeswoman for Brecon Beacons National Park Authority said: "We have been informed that the area of Mynydd y Llan will not be used as a film set in early 2012 due to logistical filming factors.

"From the very early stages of scouting right through to the planning application, our officers have worked particularly hard to make this project happen.
"We hope to encourage more filming opportunities like this in the near future, so we wish the film crew every success and assure them of a warm Welsh welcome should they come back to the Brecon Beacons to film."

We could be going back to the days of spiders, sharks, crocodiles and snakes. My French is not too good but it looks like there could be a scene in Skyfall involving a komodo dragon and floating casino.
If it's real, sounds like it takes place years after QOS. It could be a put -on however, February sounds a little early for a teaser trailer but I wouldn't have a problem with some early drumbeating. I wonder what Bond was doing in his retirement? A little freelance work? Security Consultant? Private bodyguard? Maybe security for a large corp? Selling used cars? Opened a karate school?

It does sound good though, must admit us lot in here have sort of pieced together a similar plot from the pics so far e.g. Craig in that dodgy flowery shirt seemed to have triggered a few "he must be on leave / homeless / vacation" and getting picked up / escorted back to the office etc. Mi6 under attack seems pretty clear with the coffins and DC running through London with his suit ruined etc We already know there is going to be a train sequence in Turkey which I believe 2 unit are doing next month etc
Im excited anyhow! The fact that a lot of it is kicking off in London gives it a more Flemming vibe, think we have only seen DC there once in the last two films so people whinging about lack of exotic locations can't complain too much as the UK has not had much of a look in so far on film apart from internal shots like Ms home!!
I think it's unfortunately a fake, but really like the sound of it and would be happy to be wrong.
If it was true, it would be really playing with the timeline by going forward that much. I'd be fascinated with what (if anything that would mean for future outings)
I doubt if they could have filmed this much yet, or be in a position to pull it together.

I call fake. Bond handed in his resignation in Casino Royale then at the end of Quantum he told M he never left. Why would they have to search for him if he never left? Who ever wrote this has a wild imagination. He took some elements from the first two Craig trailers, put them here with some extras and BAM!!! instant, fake, Skyfall trailer. Of course I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I'm starting to think fake also. However the more than likely long passage of time between QOS and Skyfall would be a convenient way of keeping Craig on as Bond for several more films and not having to endure the "Bond morphing into the fully developed Bond charactor" bit over another film.....we get an older, fully formed Bond in Skyfall and can get on with whatever they will be getting on with. Also, if true the film could end with Dench's resignation or removal as "M", a new "M" being appointed and Bond's return to MI6. It would be great IMO to have the new "M" be from the military (after Dench's disgrace they decide to get rid of the polititions in MI6 and put it back in the hands of the military).
I'm really doubting the "Bond has resigned" bit because he has "seen too much". Hard to believe a hardened SBS vet like Bond would burn out so fast. I'm thinking maybe they bring Bond back from some deep cover, off the grid mission. It could also be possible that whoever is assassinating MI6 agents has located Bond off the grid and attempts to knock him off but he survives and is brought back in by MI6. Who the heck knows? I guess we will just have to wait and actually see the film...what a concept for us Bondaholics.

Just adding the latest picture. Not sure if the scene on the clapperboard means it appears later in the movie or not. It'll be interesting to look back at these once the movie comes out.
When I read the trailer wrap up I got REALLY excited for Bonds return in October (a month later for me in Australia, NOV 24th WTF!). Its sounds great. But I too think its a fake. Teasers are generally only about a minute or less. This sounds like a plotty trailer we'd see round mid-year attached to other Sony pics in the cinema. They have been filming for around 3 months so there could be that much footage. Its hard to tell 8-)
I suppose we wait til the end of the month. If it is true and we see it by March, then I think that will be my cut-off for spoilers, I want Skyfall to be all new when I finally see it in November.

When Bond was a louche, laid back Naval Commander, tall and dark, he survived 20 "missions". Okay, he frayed a bit from time to time - OHMSS, TLD and LTK - but other than that he dusted himself down, made a quip and moved on. Hell, in that version he even got over being widowed! And indeed was the cause of his wife's death.
Yet this little metro sexual, muscular wimp manages only a couple of ops over a few years as 007 before he's burned out!!
Crazy.
