Lock and Co Hat Style Confirmation

Hi Guys recently bought the Lock and Co Sandown hat and was wondering if someone knows if this is the exact hat worn in Dr No. I have noticed the Wetherby looks very similar and is sold in green and dark brown, wondering if the green was used in Dr No and the dark brown in From Russia With Love and Goldfinger (Wetherby looks a match with the longer brim when hanging on the coat rack in Golfinger).

It's the Sandown Trilby. The hat worn by Connery was brown but sometimes appears grey due to lighting. Never noticed a green color but I suppose it's possible due to lighting and perception.

Here are a couple of threads on the Connery Trilby:

If you're talking about OddJob's hat, yes it was a Lock hat. A square crowned coke to be exact. I think you have to special order it though. Likewise, Nick Nack's hat was a Lock hat as well as Lazenby's Trilby. Get them all and you'll have a nice little collection.

It would be a perfect collection, I was actually refering SC hat that was hanging on the coat rack in M's office in Goldfinger this is also a dark brown Lock and Co Trilby looks like a longer brim than the Sandown which makes me think it could be a Wetherby.

I still believe the hat in Dr. No was grey. The colour changes in every shot and it changes in each DVD edition. That's why I'm sticking with the neutral grey. Even if it is brown it's not the same brown as the hat in From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. I have an old grey trilby from Lock that looks identical the hat in Dr. No. I wouldn't go by the current offering as to what was available in 1962. The hats that I have prove that what they offer has changed. I have two vintage Lock trilby hats: there is no model name but the grey is called "coke" and the brown is called "new brown."

Hmm, don't know about that. I can only go by what Lock told me. The Giblin book refers to it as grey but Lock says brown (Sandown). Moreover I see brown in Dr. No. Particularly the airport. I also have stills that show brown. True, it does look grey sometimes but...

Also forgot the homburg that Connery wears or carries at the beginning of DN. It's the "Sir Anthony Eden" also made by lock. As I said one can have a nice little collection.
