Turns out they wernt genuine. Refund went through today
How were you able to determine they weren't genuine? Just curious as others may want to know how to spot fakes. I've seen some other TF ripoffs that have the style and model number information printed on the ear piece instead of the inside of the arm, as well as "TOM FORD" printed in an off-white decal on the right-eye lens (instead of the embossed logo on the left-eye lens, which I believe is standard). But those 108s looked legit from the pics posted above. Glad to hear you're getting your money back regardless!

On this model - they had no embossings on the inside arms. Left or right. And I spoke with Mario at Tom Ford New York and Guiseppe at Tom Ford in Harrods. Both advised that all Tom Ford sunglasses which are manufactured by Marcolin in Italy and all sunglasses have model name and number on the inside left arm. And CE Made in Italy on the inside right.
I've been looking for a pair of these for some time now. I refuse to pay the extortionate money being asked for on eBay. If any one knows where I could pick some up in the uk I'd be very grateful.
Ps I assume that the lenses are non polarised which is what I am after.
Sadly, since these are discontinued, you'll be hard-pressed to find a pair at a "reasonable" price, unless a member here is happy to part with theirs at cost. Keep in mind these glasses sold for USD $350-400 retail when they were in circulation, so you're unlikely to find a pair for less than, say $500 to $700. At least, that seems to be the average rate on eBay, the only current source of these glasses. And if you lucky enough to find the correct "QoS" version - 19V - and they're in brand new condition, expect to pay a bit more than that. If I remember correctly, when speaking to the reps at Marcolin a year or two ago, one in eight pair were the 19V model with the blue lenses.
And you are correct - these glasses are not polarized, unlike their sister model, the OP Airman's.

£500 in the end.
