Shaking your shoulders? Do you mean too loose?

The price is fair, but for those for whom it's not the right size, you should consider this:

Very iconic brand + quality + made in England!

The thing that makes the QOS jacket is the cuffs and waist line without the ribbed elastic. That makes it hard to find. If you care about those details and you're paying 150+ then I always say to save for something accurate.

    Hi Roi,

If you still have this jacket, please post the measurements that you gave Indy when ordering it. Just giving the chest size doesn't tell me if it's going to fit. I need to know shoulders, sleeves, total length etc.

    Thanks mate,

I agree with this. Other forums have told me to just save for the Baracuda, but I don't like the ribbed waist and sleeves, either. I was hoping someone had posted photos of the Eddie Bauer jacket available (I think some had purchased it), but I'm still leaning towards my own Magnoli.

The Baracuda G4 slim fit does not have elasticated cuffs or waist!!

I'd nitpick about that high silver strap and pointy cuff. With the price tag the baracudas have i myself wouldn't do it. They're past my budget alternative price point.

Little better. 75=$117 right? Still over my personal frugal limit.

The Baracuda is the way to go, perfect quality, iconic style, Made in England... The Magnoli is really expensive for a Made in China.

    Hi,
I actually ordered the Eddie Bauer jacket, but unfortunately it was too large when I received it (I'm a 34 sleeve and a 42 chest so I ordered the large and I was swimming in it). But it is a very nice jacket. The blue is darker than it appears in the pictures and the logo on the chest is barely noticeable. The material is on the thicker side, so the collar stands up with no problem, but it's still soft. It kind of feels like a lightly waxed cotton. There are two strips of elastic waist (about 2.5 inches long) on either side of the jacket, but they are barely noticeable and can be covered up with "waist tabs" by a tailer. Overall, very happy with the purchase; now I'm just waiting for my medium!

Thanks! I'd love to see pics. I'm a 40-41 chest, with short arms.

Tried the Eddie Bauer jacket on. Definately want to at least think about sizing down for that extra fitted look. In addition to the elastic areas on the waist, be aware of the "action back". It's a vented wing type thing on the back of each shoulder for added flexibility.

Not a fan of the elastic, action back, and material. Three strikes and it's out. Came home empty handed. :(

Hey, I appreciate the honest review. Perhaps I will look into the Baracuda, if I don't pony up for the Magnoli after deployment. Will have to see if the San Diego weather is as warm as I'm told it's been. I'll be there for 5 years.
