    Oh no...years of counselling had rid me of awful memories of that waxed paper and its nasty, sharp little edges and corners. Now you've mentioned it and I'm back to walking strangely and wincing.

    Pete, MoD have been polishing turds for years and have it down to a fine art. The compo paper was found to be inefficient at turd polishing so they took 20 years, spent £3 Bn, changed the requirement 15 times as to coefficient of shine and now have many teams of professional turd polishers in MoD Main Building. :D

    And it was still in use into the late 80s also! I think we also used it as tracing paper :))
