Just got them! Should I give them the same cold water white vinegar soaking with air dry like I did with my Sunspel polos? I turn them inside out and let them soak in a cold-set wash cycle for 20-30 minutes on delicate and the hang dry when finished.

That's what I'd do. Try not to wash them too often. When you have to wash them its always inside out and air dry.

Awesome. Will do these when I get home from work today. Tags cut.

All, sizes have been re-stocked, and they're still listing at $109. GET THESE!!! They're lightweight, soft, a little stretchy (which is GREAT for a guy about to go home and get some fat on) and beautiful! They come in 34 length, so you'll most-likely have to get them hemmed, but it's worth it for a great jean at the perfect length.

Good for you, BLU! I had 12 hours left on a pair of Sta-Prest 306s on eBay today for $50, but lost to a Buy-It-Now bid for $200. Damn ninjas...

If there are any members still looking for these, but your size is sold out on the 7FAM website, Amazon.com has them on sale for $118: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00347AHOA/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details

Seeing as how the Standard in Mercer is on sale, I wonder if 7FAM is phasing them out of production & clearing out their remaining stock?

    That's a scary thought!

No evidence from the UK 7s site that the Mercer is being phased out.

Both the Standard and Slimmy are still listed at full (£160) price.

I completely agree with all of the positive feedback on these jeans. I bought five pairs as well back in 2008 and have worn ONE pair of them since; only washing them when they were dirty. As others here have mentioned, I turn them inside out, wash them in a cold gentle cycle and let them hang dry. Jeans are a difficult purchase (I'm thin and always particular about their fit - isn't everyone?) so when I find something I like I stock up.

I just recently wore the first pair through (three years of constant wear!) and broke into pair #2. I paid retail for them back then and had no problem doing so considering the quality. As a bonus, it was nice to have a pair of jeans actually made in the USA for a change! They are worth every penny. My only regret is that I don't have the extra income at the moment to buy another five pairs at the discounted price! :v

    Enjoy!

Looking on 7's site I noticed there are "no returns or exchanges" on these at the discounted price. Is it indeed possible that they are being phased out?

I, too, noticed this when I ordered. The ad size that they are known to run small, and suggest sizing up. I was torn between a 32 and a 33, and got the 33, because I didn't want them to be too tight, and not be able to return them.

Realistically, either size would fit because of the stretchiness of them... and if they're being phased out, I think it's more likely that they may change the style a little (like the originals without the double belt-loops in the back), but the color is just too gorgeous to completely remove from their line-up.

I plan on buying other pairs, as well.
