Im a newbie to all this, but lately after purchasing a few albums online e.g. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - I was given the option of FLAC or Apple Lossless, I'm a iTunes user simply for my gadgets etc so interested to note how much difference does listening to FLAC make, I notice the files are 5 x bigger etc and a track can be 100MB!!!!!! Naturally I chose Apple Lossless as FLAC is not supported without a plugging and even so I would still have to convert to Apple Lossless to listen via my iPhone etc or through my Apple TV / Stereo system in my living room
On the same site I noticed there was a vinyl option? Is this simply for collectors sake or what? I mean do people listen to digitally produced music still prefer to listen to it o Vinyl? Does it make any sense to listen to music created on Pro Tools etc to then listen on vinyl?
A bit off topic but any "in-ear" headphone recommendations for the gym to listen via Apple gadgets?
