Well the shots I've seen haven't shown a mic, just a straight stem black earpiece with a coiled black wire. Therefore I'd say its a receive only earpiece.
In one shot the earpiece appears to have a clear band to help keep it in place during running etc, but it's not clear if this is a SFX addition or part of the original product.
There again I could be totally wrong and it could be just a little prop made by the prop makers.
