Jack Purcell OTR substitute

Hi guys, from reading this forum for a while a topic that seems to come up a lot is the Jack Purcell OTR, no, I don't have a pair to sell but I did find something that might interest you guys http://www.converse.com/#/products/shoes/converseone/builder/jacPurLea0904,,,, this may be a repost but with this customiser you could make a shoe (yes unfortunately you can't get a boot) that would look somewhat similar to the OTR and if you left the ''smile'' white once you get it I'm sure you smart people could work out a way of making it orange.

Hmmm. We had discussed that alternative here before, but you have actually brought something new to my attention. You used to be allowed to customize a hi-top version, but now you can only customize a lo-top version on the site. Oh well. Thanks, though!

Just tore the hell out of my black Purcells during a walk on some rocky terrain. This will do nicely!

I actually bought some and have since received them and added some more OTR like laces, I can upload a picture if you like?

Please do. I've been using the designer to make a pair of black leather shoes for casual wear, but I can't help but feel I should be wearing something a little more "grown up", even here in Southern California.
