What the heck is happening to him? His face on the cover looks so very different than Daniel Craig from even a couple years ago. Not hideous aging, but dang is he getting ashy and pale.

I really think the neo-brutalist hair-do does not help matters. He would ( and did) look so much better a while back when it was longer. He still does look as fit as a Butchers dog though.
Wow! I have always been (and still am) a Craig fan as Bond. I know he's not anywhere close to the literary Bond by description, but somehow Craig seems to make a very watchable Bond in my opinion. However, that Esquire cover is absolutely awful! I'm not sure who ok'd that, but Craig's head looks way too large for his frame. I'm not sure if it's shopped, but Craig's body looks sickly thin. Terrible, terrible, pic. Sorry.
The Esquire cover shot is absolutely brutal. I like Craig as Bond and am confident that the lighting, make-up and cinematography for "Skyfall" will have him looking great. But whoever took that Esquire cover photo should be shot. The lighting is absolutely awful, especially for someone with fair skin and close cropped light blond hair like Craig. The kiddie photog at the local Sears Store does better work with less.
Have you seen the pic of Craig fighting on the train that looks gud!!

Craigger looks like he's had a terrible Kenny Rogers-type facelift in that Esquire cover photo Very odd. Like the pub shots, though.

I think Mr Craig looks great, and you are right Loeffelholz, the pub shots stand out because the settings look natural. The dinner jacket cover shot of Mr C as Bond works well too. However that black suit shot is awful - simply cause the lighting is all to pot. It is overexposed on Mr Craig's face and hasn't been diffused with light panels correctly, creating a slight moon glow effect. Looks suspiciously like its been photoshopped too. - Badly. Reminds me of the season 10 Publicity shots of Stargate SG1's main cast. Terrible.
Re the shorter hairstyle, I think its much better. Short, practical, understated.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Nah. O'Neill made a total bollux of the whole set, making Craigy-looked knackered, but the pub one he fooooked big time. Here was an opportunity for a natural, rugged Craig in his own environment, relaxing; but the nob decided to empty the pub and have a staged show of Craig posing in a double breasted cardy at the bar. Where were all the other drinkers that would have made it all look so real, so normal, so, apparently, down to earth and 'ordinary', as Craig keeps relentlessly telling us he is? Instead, we have a stripped, staged pub, emptied of it's clentele so a Hollywood superstar could have a pose....
The Empire coverage of Skyfall was really interesting. I have honestly never had this high hopers fora Bond movie before! I had high hopes for CR too, but I also had a fears ....
This one I know is in safe hands.
The November issue of GQ (out on 4th October) features a James Bond special. Included is Dame Judi Dench on working with Daniel Craig and David Walliams interviews Roger Moore.
How about I change the title of this thread to "Magazine's featuring 007" ??? Or something similar... it becoming a really good place to source mag info... B-)

I've been posting Bond related magazine covers/features in this topic as it made sense to have them all in one place. "Magazine's featuring 007" would be a good title for this topic. I cannot think of anything better right now.
