When I just think of the films from Goldeneye onwards that figure of 4,662 bullets seems like a gross underestimate. Probably fell asleep after counting the first couple of hundred and then made the figure up. :D

In the novels (which next year will celebrate 60 years in print), yes; but not in the films--that we know of!

Did he? I don't remember that and I've read all Fleming's novels! Looks like I'll have to re-read them this summer.

It was one of R Benson's Ideas secretagent, you'll have to start the Gardner and Benson novels :))

Got mixed up with an Interview from J Gardner where he said he wasn't allowed
to bring any relatives in to his stories, Then R Benson introduced a Kid.
Still I'd better go back and re-read the Novels, I might of reached the stage where
I'm mixing up Facts, Interviews and My own thoughts. :#
The Old Peoples Home can't be far away. :))

I tried a few of Gardener's but I didn't go much on them. Don't know which ones, but I remember a fast SAAB, a girl with one central breast?!?, a train in the desert... Oh and I think he did Goldenye, which was ok. I couldn't get into Faulkes' book either - can't even remember the name, can't be bothered to google it...

Pretty sure that Benson's young Suzuki appeared in the first short story rather than a book, never to appear again - a plot by the publishers methinks to stop anyone else cashing in on the idea.
