  Well.....there is the scene in From Russia With Love in which Bond hands his booby-trapped briefcase to Red Grant, but I doubt that's the kind of briefcase exchange you're looking for!

  I assume he is talking about the boild-up to the fight between Bond and Red Grant in the train.
  bond pretends he wants to pay off Grant with the money hidden in the two briefcases.
