Dunno if there's a thread on this.
The Total Recall trailer is out. Oddly, it borrows lines and scenes from Arnie's original, as if we won't mind it, and is one of those old fashioned long trailers that basically tell you the plot. Which we know anyway. Even odder, I didn't really mind. It's almost got to the point when it's like complaining that the RSC is doing another adaptation of Hamlet, and that you know how it ends and all the dialogue too. That's not the point, it's the nuances.
Ditto with the Dark Knight Rises to some extent, it's all a reboot of a pretty recent series, and of course The Amazing Spiderman.
Bond appears to be the exception, doing something that looks quite different with Skyfall.
