Sadly mans eagerness to conquest space, has a heavy price too pay,and unfortunately the more and more we venture
into the darkness of space ,more and more people are going to die trying. But if it wasn't for the efforts of these brave and un-selfish modern day frontiers man ,we would never get of this planet of ours.As Capt Kirk famously said
"TO bodly go where no man has gone before" has never rung more true.

By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
Very true, as I tried to explain to my daughter and wife, who
Complain about the money being spent on space exploration.
That we need it, the future ( after we balls up this planet) will
Be in finding another one. ;)

The US Navy has been testing the drone, GhostSwimmer, which is 5ft long and weighs around 45 kilos, for surveillance but will likely eventually "weaponise" it. The reconnaissance robot aims to recreate the propulsive power of tunafish. It can be controlled remotely like an aerial drone or set to function independently.

Having my iPhone6 since 24 hrs and absolutely looooooove it!

It feels that it's only half as thick as the iPhone 5 - performance is great, battery lasts a bit longer and the screen now has the right size for checking AJB on it without zooming in (necessary with the 5 - hey I am old!).

The rounded shape is incredible and I am thinking for the first time to use it without a skin.

Put it in your back pocket for a week and see how you get on :))

The second hand shops are FULL of iphone 6's over here - nobody wants them...

the 2nd hand shops are full because people want to make a little extra money with the desirable 64GB iPhones.

The "bendgate" is long finished. Other smartphones in that size bend the same amount and more and it's limited to the 6 PLUS.

Many people I've spoken to - especially Apple staff - have said the upgrade from an iPhone 5 to a 6 is pointless...the 6 as no 'killer app'...so it's only people with more money than sense that will upgrade from a 5 :D an upgrade from a 4 makes sense...
