Guess which Bond star

Ok, I chatted to someone of Bond fame today in my shop. Just for fun, ask a question and I'll answer it before you take a guess at who it was.

She's living in St. Agnes on the North Cornish coast. We had a good chat, and she told me how disappointed she was with the delay in filming, and therefore the end of the Dalton era. She also told me about TLD Barry Manilo line - apparently she's pulling an ironic expression that we don't see, they changed the camera angle in editing - so she's felt like she was made to look a **** ( her words, not mine!) for the past twenty years. Anyway, lovely lady to chat to. And she's now holding acting workshops in the area.

She wasn't too happy with Samantha Bond's Moneypenny - recons she had great lines, more exposure etc and that the producers took Moneypennys part more seriously. I gather she was good friends with Samantha Bond, so there was a bit of jealousy maybe. She was pretty upset about the Barry Manilo line in TLD, and said it was poorly edited to what they rehearsed and practised. I didn't have a camera on me to take her picture, to be honest I would find that hard to ask. I passed on asking Judy Dench in a restaurant last December, we were almost touching elbows. I bottled it and didn't talk, but I'm still glad I didn't, as it would have been a rude interruption. This was different.

Actually no. We were chatting about the Olympic ceremony and I was laughing about the Queen in the Bond sketch. She just smiled and said she was in two Bond films. I looked at her and asked her which, then she said she was Moneypenny and I instantly knew I said "Oh, yes, you're Caroline Bliss!"And to be honest she was bloody impressed I knew her name! It was obvious now, who she was. Her hair is a few shades darker, she's about fifty, but she's bloody attractive. I mentioned her rubbish Manilo line and smiled, and she really opened up about it.

There you go, it's Secret Agent's way with the ladies (mentioned on another thread, albeit my himself... :p )

Did you then go: "I'm known as The Secret Agent on the Absolutely James Bond website, I have nearly 2000 posts, and... wait, Ms Bliss, don't run away! Come back, I beg of you!'

    It's okay, I wouldn't mention it either. ;%

Yeah, I imagine she would have aged well.

BTW can't blame you for not taking a photo.

I took a pic of a Bond girl earlier this year with my phone, and she pulled a sour expression as she went by in her car.

Who was it? The Queen. Not a great moment. (Outside St Paul's, when most of the crowds had gone, an impromptu drive by).
