My imagined interview with James Bond

CHRISISALL: Thank you for this this interview, Commander Bond, I greatly appreciate your taking the time to-
JAMES BOND: Please ask your questions if you will; there's someplace else I need to be shortly.
CIA: Oh, yes, uh, how do you feel about our American Secret Service?
JB: There is at least one member of it I have some respect for, certainly.
CIA: And who would that be?
JB: *impatient look*
CIA: Of course. Sorry.
What do you think of President Obama?
JB: He does the job he was elected to do.
CIA: Does he do it well in your opinion?
JB: How does my opinion in this matter?
CIA: I'm just trying to get a view from someone who sees the world conflicts from the 'ground level', shall we say.
JB: Then, he does the job he was elected to do.
CIA: If Romney should win the next Presidency, how might that affect your job?
JB: My holiday time might be a bit more limited.
CIA: AH! So you think he'd be a bad President?
JB: All cats are grey in the dark- and as you seem intent on maneuvering me into an administrative discussion, I would suggest you ask M to grant you access to Double-03; she loves to wax political. Good evening.
CIA: Thank you Commander- uh, okay, now I'm talking to myself.

Nothing of the sort, he just has no patience for stupid interviews on subjects that should need no discussion, and is a busy man. :))

Well, in my head he always has a bit of a charm and charisma for these situations. Surely he'll be a bit more slick when he doesn't want to talk next time. ;)

Clearly, I am an irritating newbie to the interviewing thing. 8-)

chrisisall, I am aware of many new topics, that you have recently started, but that one here is a masked attempt to start a political discussion which is simply trolling imo - or what's the point of your thread?

Damn it Markus, I started reading this thread, got about 2 lines into it, decided it wasn't worth my time so I backed out, then I saw you'd posted, went back in, read what you'd put, thought 'wtf is he on about?', went back and read the first post all the way through, decided that yes you'd got a point AND my original thoughts were true, and now I've ended up posting in this weird thread to demand to know who the hell I'm supposed to claim against for wasting my time!!! X-(

Why would james bond give a crap about American politics?

Not wanting to sound mean, but do any of you Americans give a crap about nick clegg? :p

That's the point of my thread, to have a bit of fun with our self-centered mentality. The way I wrote it, I believe that came through, and I also think I got Bond's voice down pretty well. Basically, if reading it didn't make you smile or chuckle a bit, I don't see why commenting on it is even necessary, other than to suggest I not pursue writing as a career. :D
