Moore's "Bond on Bond" in UK Waterstone's

I had a flick through yesterday in Waterstone's. Some nice unseen photos, marred by being a bit low res (ie not pin sharp quality).

Moore talks us through everything, the gadgets, the women and so on. There's the vague sense that some of it is ghostwritten, and you're not sure how much. A bit like Connery's book on Scotland; you find yourself thinking, no way is this old guy, who's not an author, going to be writing this much so coherently. But Moore does seem present on every page, and Never Say Never Again isn't omitted Stalin-style. A very nice selection of the posters at the back of the book, though again, conspiracy minded, they pick the worst NSNA poster for it.

It's a decent package overall. Despite its quality, there's a bit of deja vu about it but it depends how old you are I guess.

Lexi, I am glad you met Roger, even if it was very brief. Never met him myself.

And here is the book trailer in which he talks about Bond on Bond from the rather lavish setting of the Casino Monte-Carlo.

Just saw a clip on the news on Sir Rog's booksigning today. He said he was overwhelmed by the turnout and especially by a statuesque female who almost made him fall over backwards. He said he was sorry that the encounter was not for long and that they'd really rushed him through. ;)
