A mobile fourm?

I just think it would be a bit easier for phone users (and iPod user like myself) if there was a mobile version of the site. If there is please tell me and thank you!

No there isn't a mobile version, but I find its fine to use with an iPhone.

There is however a 'site comments and suggestions' sub forum where you can ask for one to be instigated.

I think it's been mentioned before though and the site owner was last seen heading towards the Ukraine with an industrial sized drum of swarfega and half of a pantomime horse outfit about 3 years ago. We've not heard from him since, concern is starting to build.

Well that's not good... Note you can go to Ukraine to save him but I think I am just going to stay here, if that is okay.

Yeh, I did suggest to Simon (the owner) to creating an app as well, but that takes ££££.... he pays for hosting it as it is... so it's not quite so simple...

Well, a mobile site or an app are options, but like minigeff said, this one is compatible with iPhone in my experience. It loads fast and doesn't show any formatting issues. It just simply isn't set to the mobile screen ratios.

I'm not really a fan of apps for individual forum sites, so I'd rather just have a mobile version of the website.

I really don't like 'mobile' version of websites at all...I find them hideous and horrible to use...todays mobiles can easily handle the 'full' version of websites...so I don't see the point either.

I agree with M, in fact, I have foud that AJB is one of the easiest sites to post on from my Smartphone. I too find Site Aps are a pain, and prefer accessing the site direct. - Wiki and Google are other good examples.

There is a dedicated forum app called tapatalk which works really well. I did post about it in the suggestions thread. It is free to register your forum on and negates the need to create a dedicated app.

I never said it doesnt work on the iPhone, that's where I use it. But Tapatalk is an app that helps you collect many forums together (this is not the only forum I visit) and its much quicker and easier to use too.
