Posting Images

Dear site members:
Pardon my ignorance as a new person here. I uploaded a digital painting just now in the "Skyfall" fan art section but it takes the viewer to an external page that previews it, with some reduced clarity. How can I more effectively embed the image as seen by the posters made by other members? Is that achieved by using a code with "img" or some other syntax? Or is it better to upload it first in another site's gallery, and use a code syntax to present it as a fully visible image? Any guidance is appreciated.

First up, welcome to AJB, hope its a useful and long lived membership for you.

Secondly, the forum has a site help and suggestions forum where help can be sought, requests of assistance should be placed there to avoid sub-forums being clogged up.

To answer your question, I use a photobucket account, upload images to there and then post a link here. You type 'then place the link to your image then type

Alternatively there's the image button above where you type your post, this will insert the syntaxes for you to save you having to type them.

    Hope this helps
