Bond spin off's? (Possibly a dumb question)

Something I've always wondered but never been able to find information for in general is whether or not EON own the rights to produce every single Bond book ever as a film.

They obviously have the legal right to every Ian Fleming novel but when we look at the other authors usually they've taken just 1 or 2 of the novels from that author and produced them into films.

So I guess my question is, If a movie production company really wanted too, could they purchase the rights to produce a post Ian Fleming James Bond novel into a film?

I'm assuming not since surely someone would of tried it by now (Other than Never Say Never Again) but thought I would ask and hopefully get an answer.

Short answer is no....as EoN own the copyright of the character 'James Bond'...

Actually, I don't think they have the rights to the TSWLM novel, which Fleming didn't like and didn't want adapted.
