    The photo was done with an Ipad. regarding the double chain, the reason I didn't make them that way (and I am a professional as you can see from my cufflink collection photo) is that you need a double french cuff, which is hard to find, not to mention impossibile to fit two sides through the button hole, think of the size of the button hole on your shirt and try squeeze one through, that is why the T-bar is more practical. It depends if you actually want to wear them. The ones I have are hand made in Italy in florence (where the tom Fords will have been made and where his production line works. They were made for a major fashion magazine shoot celebrating 50 years of style, so they had to be spot on that includes the size which they are identical too (and seeing above comments no one has guessed them yet) various designs were made for shoot I have attached photos. Here are some better photos of them meanwhile, for those saying "they were awful, bent and other nonsense) and for anyone who contacts me in message I am giving a second pair free, I have several designs. Let us separate the paper agents from the ones who truly live like Bond. ALPHA A

    You are a professional?
    it looks more that you are just collecting cheap cufflinks.
    Maybe they made in Italy, but the material looks cheap and the links are definitely inaccurate. Btw you advertise them in your first post as more accurate than the ones from hart008, that's not true.
    His cufflinks are looking much better and he don't bash other members products.

    Quite possibly the crappest marketing tool.

    I dunno why people start stating 'most accurate ever made', 'better made than ......' Etc etc.

    If people wanna buy them and like them, they'll be in touch.

    Guys, we're all missing the point here, we should be bringing some cool stuff to the table without slating each other. Work together if needs be, but don't try and compete.

    Couldn't agree more Jeff, it's happening a lot and from people who should know better too. We also need to remember that this thread was started by Indy and has been hijacked by alpha agent, maybe Sir Miles would like to look at that B-)

    One other thing that comes to mind is something George Lazenby said during his OHMSS interviews. There was some kinda party going on, and not many people were speaking to George, Dana Broccoli asked George what the problem was, to which George replied that everyone was ignoring him and he couldn't understand it as he was the big star. Cubby shot the noob down in flames;

    "A big star? You're not a star when Harry says you're a star, when I say you're a star or when you think you're a star, you're a star when the fans decide you're a star!"

    I follow the same MO, I don't consider my work amazing, but only consider I've nailed a project when you guys say so.

    So when people start calling themselves 'professional' I always raise an eyebrow and try to stifle a snigger.

    I don't care if you're 'a professional' or if its your first attempt at a project, if its good quality and a reasonable price you'll get interest.

    Your opinion of yourself doesn't matter, the quality of your project and service is paramount.

    Just my 2 cents,

    MG -{

    We have to remember this is a Bond thread for Bond fans, Tom Ford will not be selling these so we have to hope people make them and has anyone contacted him to ask his price, it's half the price of the ones Hart made which I will buy a set of as well but the writing on these are clear, I am sure both sets will have there good and bad points but I am happy to give the guy a chance and see what they are like, for 49.99 dollars I'd say it's pretty decent value!

    Sorry for the wording guys, late nights and too much black label I guess. No offence was mean't I think thats obvious.. I was referring only to accuracy, don't get me wrong think the other ones are a great shot, great presentation too, but due to size and because of one fatal flaw, (they are finished with a clear resin varnish finish, not used on the original due to the reflection from the lights during filming, same thing in the photo shoots we did) I was only offering the extra sets i had left (not for profit as those who got them already know by the price) to fans like me who use cufflinks on a regular and wanted something that essentially bar the theme, looked like a regular great sets of cuffs. regarding the material, they are made of the same material that swarovski's skyfall set is made off (and check their prices), again they were not made to be sold else they would be made in silver or white gold and come with fancy packaging etc. The only thing is that they are signed on the back with my initials and jewellers stamp (see pics), I also weathered them so they looked a little used (like the screen ones). Incidentally they are hard to photo unless photographed by a "professional" and those may note that the originals don't look too great either, not to mention that the finish in black looks smooth when in truth it would be slightly rough or smudged (as the silver edges are), black hand made resin does this. anyways ease on the insults lads, we are all friends and fans. just here to add my contribution, thanks to the guys who messaged me. I took receipt of a pair of Alphaagent's Orbis cufflinks and am very impressed with the quality of them. Excellent craftsmanship has gone in to the detail of these and the service and correspondence from Alec has been second to none. I couldn't recommend him high enough. Anyone contemplating ordering these replicas shouldn't hesitate.

    How lovely that she gave one set to her grandson and one to her daughter's boyfriend.

    ok - so i am wearing mine for the first time today and there is a minor issue. The T bar is 90 degrees out, ie instead of the T lying across the hole in a double cuff shirt, it lies in line with it (if you want the crest to be pointing straight down) - bit of a screw up in the manufacturing process i think.

    they still work, but the cufflinks are constantly trying to turn themselves around to lie across the hole.

    What pair do you own? Alphas or harts?

    Tim, Mark has a pair of mine, No I turned the T-bar by choice so it was horizontal and not Vertical, this is to match the slit of the button hole (as most french cuffs have round eyelets, this isn't an issue, but most guys I imagine would will have classic straight eyelets on their cuffs) and that was so that the Herald is seen straight, not pointing up. Else you would have had to have the choice of someone seeing the herald upside down or doing so yourself. Admit it though, you felt sophisticated and all out badass, when you slipped them on.

    ok thats fair enough - i did half wonder whether it was deliberate, as when you arm is hanging by your side they are "the right way up".

    still look good i have to confess !
