Levi's Sta Prest sizing

So I just purchased some Levi's Sta Prest from eBay in black for a pretty great price. I change sizes in pants, usually just depends on the brand I get. I range from 34-36W. I just purchased some 501's a few days ago in 36W but the Sta Prest's I purchased are in 34W. Do Sta Prest fit true to size or do they run smaller than a standard 34W or do they fit like chinos? Or 501's? Can anybody help? Thanks for any info

I bought some in size 34 waist and found they were to snug and I wear a 33 to 34 jean normally, I think you will find the measure exactly the size on the tag

Ok I hope they fit bc I know in some Levi's pants I have to go a size up due to the whole slim style that is now preferred in jeans. Only I don't have slim legs. So I hope these fit

I find it depends on what Sta Prest model

E.g The 306 (QoS model) I can easily fit in and could poss try a size down

I had a pair with a 32w, and they fit like like a 34w, maybe even bigger. I would size down.

@welshboy: yeah I'm not sure what model it is. I do know the listing just says vintage, although it doesn't look really vintage.

If they fit loosely I'll get the waist taken in. Hopefully I won't have to do anything but just wear them

i bought the 306, and they do! run big,, the 34 was huge, i bought a pair of 33 and they still could do with a bit shrinkage, but as welchboy said to me a while ago,, they do sag in the ass a bit,

i ended up getting the 508, which are a great fit, and not a skinny fit,,

welchy, did your 508 arrive yet mate ?

No - I forgot that I hadnt paid BONVU.COM (shippers) to post the damn things, prob arrive after crimbo now X-(

I believe it was JC Penney (508 in silver birch)

I know kohls and JCP have Levi's. Do the sta prest only come in the 306 and 508 lines?

the 508,s are slim staight leg,, not sta prest, but, i think,, they are the only model to come in silver birch, thats on the open market now and the price is pretty good,

Yes , the 508's ARE indeed a slim , tapered leg , and yes , they ARE Sta-Prest ..............the closest thing you'll get at the moment .

Thanks for those links, I want to start adding these pants to my wardrobe. I'll definitely be visiting kohls and JCP to get the 508's

Got my Sta Prest pants today. They look extremely nice and for something that was labeled vintage, it looks very current to today's sta prest models. Spent $17 on them. What I like is the look of them, they are pitch black but when I step in light or outside it has a shimmering look that instantly makes it look midnight blue (strange I know). It's a 34x30. I could've gone with a 36x30 if they had them in that size. (talking about the seller's stock). They're a tad tight in the front area. So I'll just wear these as around the house pants. After these pair I think I'll just stick to the 501's and maybe 508's
