Watching the Mission Impossible Films again, it's hard not to notice that they are trying too much to be like James Bond Films (Gadgets, Settings, etc)
I know that both Franchises are based on original Works (Bond being Novels and MI being a Television Series way back in the late 60's/early 70's)

I enjoyed Ghost Protocol, although I'm not a Tom Cruise fan.
