TMWTGG - Anders Death

I watched TMWTGG again last night, and lo and behold I actually enjoyed it. However I was wondering how on earth Scaramanga managed to kill Andrea Anders in a packed stadium without raising any alarm. How did he muffle the sound of the gunshot? There's no indication that a silencer could be used with the Golden Gun and this would have also presumably reduced the range of which he could shoot from anyway. Any ideas?
Maybe I'm looking too much into it. After all this is one of the silliest Bond movies, definately up there with MR and DAD.

I would have gone with this except he explains to Bond that the shot was 'difficult but very gratisfying' which says to me he must have somehow killed her there at the stadium. Would a sudden explosion of noise from the spectators he enough to muffle the sound of a gunshot? Even then you would have thought someone would have noticed Anders being shot through the chest.
think anyone would of heard a gunshot, and he could of used a silencer.
Or he could of shot her up close as they sat down.
I always figured this as an emotionally difficult shot, Miss Anders being his mistress or uhh whatever you'd like to call it haha. Hmm if only we'd know for sure... Great post, by the way.

No, Anders was already dead. Bond's "talk" with her is put-on as he sees the blank stare of her eyes and the bullet hole in her chest. Another thought - the bullet must have been fired from a very low calibre gun as otherwise it would have went through Anders and into other people at the match, potentially. It's a great scene, with Scaramanga being beside Bond and him not knowing it,. as he's never seen him before - far better acting than anything in DAF, IMHO.

I'm the same with a lot of the Bond films - but then I'm a literary James Bond backwoodsman!
