reboot??

Casino Royale was a reboot, I know, but one thing is bothering me; if Craig has an other history then the Bonds from the first 20 films, what's the Goldfinger DB5 doing in SF? I hope the filmmakers mean by this aspect that Craig is the same Bond as Connery because I have never been a supporter of the reboot. I like the more subtle "reboot' from SF; new M, new Q, new Moneypenny and the history destroyed (Skyfall and the DB5). With this they can start over again, but still, you know this is the same Bond as 50 years ago. What do you think?

    Bond movies are crazy in their ability to change from serious to funny to over-the-top adventure! The car is no sign of continuity, but a leftover from older movies that is intended to excite older fans.

    Us Bond fans should collectively stop thinking about the reboot altogether! If Bond was continuous he would have died long ago! All this chat about how it doesn't add up is silly! We could nit pick all day about inconsistencies in the series but that wouldn't achieve much :p The DB5 is THE iconic Bond car and it is there for sheer pleasure and nostalgia -{

    I'm not at all sure 'that this is the same Bond' Before anybody gets all anti- reboot' or anti Craig on my lily white...I am not sure that the Bond from FRWL is the same one as In DAF or Octopussy.

    Perhaps Mallory is in fact the Edward Fox M character from NSNA, and the 'predecessor' to whom he refers is Dench. :s

    Connery in DAF > Roger Moore LMAO

    (yeah I know people are on about the story etc) but if your taking it that serious then you must take note of the diff in actors and the character changes of each Bond lol

    I personally take each era (actor) as their own Bond
