...if you think, no problem...
Price is to keep away peaple like you
This doesn't even make any sense. What kind of people are "peaple like you"? And why do you need to "keep them away"? Please explain.
You say that you're not here to make money, yet you say that the STARTING BID must be higher than what you paid. So the story about you wanting to make Bond fans happy and not wanting to make money is obviously nonsense, as is the idea that this is some noble endeavour on your part.
I would have bought these - I've paid far more for Bond collectibles in the past - but your attitude combined with your transparent falsehoods (come on, even a 6 year old could see through them) makes me choose to not do business with you. If you're going to be dishonest about those things then how could anyone trust you about anything else?
Well, doubtless there will be those on ebay who are willing to pay the gentleman's price, people who perhaps don't have the principles of disappointed ajbers. As has happened with many, many other items.
That's the problem with James Bond kit being so desireable. And the free market.
The price is too rich for my part for just a pair of trainers we very briefly see Craig wearing, however.

Nice work My word.... definitely holding out for reasonable pricing.... however.. if someone found me a pair of Casino Royale Purcells in an 8.5.. that would be another story (seriously wishing I had picked those up when they were only 80 bucks all over the net !!)

I think you'll keep lots of people away with that price and attitude.
Yup! I'm one of them!
I'm with you guys... Man, go home. I also don't have anything against making a little profit from selling Bond related items, but members should be treated with respect. This is a board related to 007, not Hello Kitty or something.

Lads the exact trainers will be back in stock in Feb ,I will post the link from where later today they were £39.99
You see ? THIS is what AJB is all about...people looking out for each other and sharing information for the benefit of all - not trying to make a quick profit on the backs of fans.
If - and when - these come back in stock....I look forward to the link....Cheers -{

A noble hope, Sir Miles.
But I wonder if a few of the troops might be tempted to break ranks and buy the trainers from Signore Mattiazzo?
Would be nice if he named and shamed, wouldn't it? As we saw last week with Simon's case, not all AJBers are close to sainthood...

To be fair the guy who did that had a reasonable explanation. Auction ended early out the of the blue and he was waiting to bid hence checked why it had ended

That depends, of course, on whether one accepts that 'truth'. I know some probably don't...

Never mind the cases which aren't unearthed.
Self interest, eh. Who'd have thought it...
Well I would have done the same thing, if im going to bid on a rare item and it suddenly disappears I like to know why just in case there is a chance I can get it!

By telling the seller its a rare James Bond item that he hadn't realised it was... (So, you know, knackering the purchase for the buyer)

Really?
Well I wouldn't have said it was a rare James Bond item that was a daft thing to say but no thats not quite what I meant.
The way I interpreted the situation was.. (Maybe I'm wrong with the facts here)
Item for sale
Person watching it and waiting to bid
Item did not run it course and ended early
Person watching it miffed why it ended early and enquires why
If I was watching something and waiting to bid and it ended early I would have been disappointed and enquired why and what it went for etc
I think we should at least take into account the guy owned up on here and apologised. He didnt have to identify himself here.
It was a really unfortunate thing for Simon who of course contributes to these discoveries in a major way
I do not want to debate, just explain ....
Someone is still indicated an interest ... to show that the gain was not my goal I decided not to sell shoes ....
one last thing ... before making judgments is better to know people ... a way of life ...
I apologize again to those who were offended but it was not my intention ...
(to my advantage, I used a translator for English and maybe a few words or the meaning may have been different from what I wanted)
For those who have very small feet there's sale on streetwear.gr (Greece). Sizes ONLY up to UK size 6.
They had larger sizes last time I checked, but they're gone as far as i can tell.
Sale Price 48eur + Shipping (EU wide is 15eur)

This thread is offensive on so many levels. We should all be here to assist one another, not break a profit. We're all fans. And I'm sorry, if this gentleman paid 125 euros like he said, regardless of what he says, 25 euros is a profit. And to put someone else down in the process? What a douche.
What's the likely selling price for these on eBay? I'm not desperate for them but if I happen to chance upon a pair I would be interested but wouldn't like to pay over the market rate. Thanks
It depends how much the buyer will give! But it's a difficult question to be honest, I would say that because of the fact that these are nowhere to be found currently, they can go up to I don't know, a little bit over the retail price (100-120 dollars in Europe). But the other thing is - these will likely be back in production, maybe not in this year, but the next one (that's what an Adidas Originals representative told me some time ago), so the price should not be crazy. These will be no match for the Air Articulates I guess, which will never be back in production for instance.
