Just a little post to say that today marks my 10 years as a member of AJB Forums - I joined up on 14 January 2003 and I have made it to 14 January 2013!

I want to make the Literary Bond Forum much better known here on AJB and this is my mission for 2013.

I have a raft of articles upcoming on The Bondologist Blog in 2013 and I do hope that members here will continue to support my work there.

Your obedient servant at AJB,

SILHOUETTE MAN, User 1686 on AJB. -{ {[]

You want to get the literary section up and running on AJB by directing traffic to your site where you have a raft of articles ?

That's a novel way to do it :s

No, I want to help the forums by posting there. See my post on the Bondologist Blog here:

    http://thebondologistblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/the-bondologist-blog-recommends-james.html

Does that not show you my determination to help AJB?

I do hope we can work together to attract more people to AJB because of its literary Bond section. In this 60th Anniversary Year of the Literary James Bond it would be rather rude not to, really!

And you link to your site again...is it me ?:)

I'm happy to help in anyway I can...however limited that may be.

I had this problem with those unspeakables over at CBn...I don't expect this at AJB.

I will of course contribute a few articles to you at AJB to help the literary Bond forum get going...

    I'm on your side, if you'd only believe it! -{

"this" is the promotion of my blog on a Bond fan forum - I'm trying to help the literary Bond forum on AJB out, but like on CBn, I'm met with negativity?!

That actually doesn't make any sense to me...it would appear you are complaining about being allowed to promote your blog here :s which I'm sure is not true.

What negativity are you met with ? Apart from me complaining that you post little here other than links to your blog and site ?

Why not send me a PM to explain yourself better...and then we can see how we can help each other...?...

I don't think that the above statement re my The Bondologist Blog is actually true, you know.

I do post a lot of stuff on here, and I pay back AJB with links on my blog and posts endorsing it as the place to be. Jim started a war of words with me that he was really unable to finish. Dustin over at CBn removed me in November 2012. They complained I was promotiong my blog, then Jim wanted to co-author a book on John Gardner's James Bond novels with him. Talk about convoluted...

Anyway, I'll PM you with my ideas in a short while.

I don't rthink it's true that I only post links on here, sorry!

No, you've done a super job. I can't complain. You guys here on AJB have a way with people sadly lacking on CBn. They've only went and banned/removed their best members on Literary Bond.

I say that to Sir Miles because he's not smart enough:

He wants to promote his blog, he wants to become a mod and he wants to lever you out of your mods chair :D

And then he takes over AJB - wait I have to run.... :))

Makes it sound like Silhouette Man sits at home typing on his computer with his right hand while his left hand strokes the white Persian cat sitting in his lap. Or at least that's how I'm going to picture him from now on! :o
