Mine would have to be "From Russia, With Love," because it's my favorite of them all, and IMO is a perfect film to show to a Bond novice. My friend has only seen Craig's three, and liked them just fine, but is reluctant to look at a Connery Classic! I'm continuing to work on her.

I didn't count, but it seemed like Goldeneye came up a lot in the list. Why might that be?

I also hear constantly how Goldeneye is alot of people's first ever Bond film, mine included. Probably due to the 6 year gap after LTK. Everybody loves their first one.

Interesting, Goldeneye was the first I saw, if I remember correctly, (ON GLORIOUS VHS!) And I like it a lot, but I don't love it.

I was lukewarm about it (it was among my first half-dozen) back in the day, but now it's my favourite Moore. ;)

I loved it at first. The Old Rodzter was my favorite Bond for a loooooong time.

Then I read the books :#

Then I switched my Martinis to Whisky / Whiskey, Americanos and Beer.

Now I hope against all odds, that one day they will make a Bond movie that is a period piece, faithful to the original story with Christian Bale as Bond... 8-)

YOLT I have watched the most, followed by either Goldfinger or OHMSS. FRWL a close 4th.

I am curious how often you guys watch JB movies? Once a week? once a month? 3 times a day? :007)

With me it goes in flows: sometimes I watch one every night for a period of lets say a month. And than a few months without.

The Connery ones, and OHMSS I must have watched 30-40 times, if not more (probably!) certain Moore ones, although not my favourites, 20 times + (TSWLM I have seen the most, OP the least) , The Dalton movies 10+ times, The Brosnan movies 10+, QOS just twice, CR 3-4 times, and SF only once.
OHMSS, FRWL, DN, GF, CR, GE, SP, YOLT, TB, TSWLM, LALD, TLD, TND, FYEO, SF, MR, TMWTGG, TWINE, OP, AVTAK, DAF, LTK, QOS, DAD

    1. Connery 2. Craig 3. Brosnan 4. Dalton 5. Lazenby 6. Moore

Octopussy has to easily top my list. As a kid I remember we had it on VHS and I have 3 copies in the house now, plus all the times I've caught it on TV, easily my most watched. After that it would get tough, but I would think AVTAK might be my second most watched. Oddly, I think the Connery movies that I've seen the most are NSNA and DAF, but while I like Connery in both neither would be my favorite Connery movie!

The 4 Brosnan films are my most watched. Out of them I would have to say that Goldeneye gets it though.

OHMSS is my all time favourite movie. It has everything such as great villains, nice locations, cool fight sequences and a cool easy to follow plot. I used to really look forward to watching this film if it was being shown on ITV1.

I still haven't got the Boxed set but have access via Sky on my sons Xbox, on Average I will watch 2 or 3 a week now (sad I know its become some sort of obsession now).
still haven't seen Octopussy or Licence to kill all the way through (its on my to do list, right after I write that best selling novel). I also have Quantum of solace on Sky plus, but due to the amount of time watching Bond I have re-evaluated my opinions on the Films.

I think the Best film ( obviously OP and LTK aside) is CR06 but its not my favourite or most viewed,

for some reason I really like Quantum of Solace and probably throughout March and April have watched this once a week and Keep going back to it but I wouldn't say its my favourite

Still Like Goldfinger and DAF but I am always left with an empty feeling after watching FRWL as I think there could have been so much more put into it and now the boat scene at the end just looks ridiculous

I also like going back to TSWLM Moores best film,

I like TLD but have no urge to watch it again soon but I feel like that with Skyfall

and enjoy all of Brosnans even DAD

I might go and watch QOS again now

    Hmmmmmmm
Interesting thread this one, I have given much thought to some of the comments.
My first Bond film was TSWLM and I still do watch this a lot. I have also watched Skyfall umpteen times since it was released, four times in the cinema back in the autumn and the. Back to back on the laptop, iPad and DVD.
However I think to of my list would be OHMSS and possibly Dr No. Not sure why, any ideas?

    So to summarise....

    OHMSS
    DR NO
    SKYFALL
    TSWLM

Why thank you BlackLeiter and Thunderpussy :)

Thanks, i can't go a week without having to look at one of those films. James Bond, as a character, Comes out of those films every bit the cool character and greatest hero of Cinema that we know and love. Although OHMSS does end bleakly but sure Lazenby kicks ass.

    WARNING: THREAD RE-ACTIVATION :))

Although DAF is my most watched Bond, I'm finding that TND, TLD, LTK & YOLT are closing fast. In two or three year's time even OP may overtake it. :v
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.
