The disappearance of Alfred Loewenstine. Who disappeared from his private plane
in mid flight. Some think he fell out, others that he was murdered etc. It reads like
An Agatha Christie novel. no one really knows the truth, it's an on going puzzle.

I don't know much about her or her death sadly, but I know one of the theories implicated President Kennedy (with whom she was supposedly having an affair) in arranging her murder to make it look like a suicide. Dr Kaufman anyone?

Oh, I'd believe many times a politician has had " Problems" taken care of. I've see a few
tv shows where an ex Forensics officer ( now working privately) has come in to clean a crime scene
so no evidence of a crime will be found. Not saying it happens, but it could.
There was also a theory that Clark Gable killed a guy drink driving. the studio paid another guy to
say he was driving so he did the time in prison, for a nice pay cheque I'm sure. Leaving Hollywood's
Number One box office star free to make tham even ,more money. )

Indeed, there is many a cover-up we only find out about many years later, if indeed at all!
I remember my late father telling me that one about Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, so I think that rumour has been around a very long time.

I think one of the things that really feeds into the whole conspiracy ideas.
Is the massive government secrecy surrounding events. in the UK there
Is a 30 year rule, which I believe is not actually needed for many situations,
But is there to stop any embarrassment to the politicians involved. So this
Secrecy simply feeds the conspiracy theories.
For instance there are still many files concerning the assassination of President
Kennedy, not released or indeed likely to be released ! .... Which understandably
leads to people asking why ?

A few years ago I read a book about the U.S. Secret Service. Very interesting insights on what different Presidents and VPs were like based on how they treated those tasked with keeping them alive (Jimmy Carter and Al Gore were amongst those that the author claimed treated their Secret Service agents utterly miserably in stark contrast to the two men's public image). In the chapter on Kennedy, the author claimed that Bobby had a private apartment connected to his Attorney General office. It was completely secure and completely private, and anyone visiting it could be whisked in through the underground garage completely unseen. It was there that liaisons for him and his brother allegedly happened...according to the Secret Service agents who would presumably be amongst the very few who would have actually known.

Here's one of my own current theories, .....
RBS, (Ulsterbank over here ) has had at least three or four major IT problems lately. I think far from
it being a simple tech problem I think they might for whatever reason be under a cyber attack, which
basically screws up their systems by some hacker or group. Possibly in a blackmail attempt ?
Of course they can't come out publicly with this , as many would take their money out of the bank
causing it to fold, so every so often they report an IT glitch It may be years before the truth
comes out ( if ever) but I think I'm not too far of the mark.
