Not sure if this is cool with the mods, but worth a shot:

Seeing as SiCo is still absent, the 'bond 24 and beyond' forum can't possibly be added to the site, as only SiCo has that power...

So, until (and if) he returns, how about this be the thread to discuss all things about bond 24 and onwards? Nothing on Skyfall though - there's a whole forum for that!

What do you think?

Good idea though Jarvio, taking the intiative. Shall I atleast start the ball rolling..
Titles for Bond 24?
Out of the left over Bond titles, Risico and the proptery of a lady are the best.
How about the title, The Inhuman Element, Fleming was considering that title for Moonraker. Another member in this forum mentioned 'Every Rose has its thorn" which would be perfect if the new movie had a Female Villianess. If they introduced her as the leader of Quantum, that would be wonderful. I quite like the title Death's Shadow, from the midsomer Murder episode and the title "the long scream" stolen from a chapter in Dr No. What do you guys think, suited for DC's Bond?

I think Risico is very interesting-sounding. Has that high-minded espionage sound to me. The Property of a Lady is too awkward and joke-worthy for the American public, in my opinion, but I wouldn't mind it.

There's a lot of directions they can take Bond to in the next one. It's going to be intresting to see Ralph Fiennes and Noami Harris in a classic 'Bond at the office' scene. I liked Wishaw's Q a lot as well. They might go for a lighter touch in the next one as well and I really think now is the right time to place the gunbarrel at the start of the movie again. I really hope Sam Mendes will return for Bond 24, that could highly influence the quality of the movie I think.

Does anyone else feel kind of melancholy at this point after a Bond year?
(Erm, see what I did there??)

I mean, we have all the build up...trailer, poster, title song, PREMIER AND MOVIE RELEASE, pirate downloads, then DVD etc etc. now, it's all over for another two years.

I have loved every minute of the past 12 months. Topped off with the DVD release coinciding with the Oscars. I am already excited about Bond 24.

I love to see Bond having to go Under cover perhaps to The Villians
Lair. Totally isolated ( like in OHMSS ) Somewhere like the S.American
Jungle.
Totally cut off, and having to fight his way out ( saving the girl as well ).

I like that idea. However I can't really see Bond 'doing a Rambo' in the jungle.

As I've said before, I'm hankering to see DC on a pair on a pair of skis

I have an idea for a traditional-style plan for the villan. Let's imagine the villan lives in the Middle East or Asia and he hates Europe and America. He places a large bomb in the vulcano Cumbre Vieja on on eof the Canary Islands. Here is somthing I found on the web:

In other words an eruption in this vulcano wold lead to a gigant tsunami on the west coast of North and South America and mauch of Europe. Putting lots of explosives or a atomic bomb in the crater could set it of. After having villans who have much more modest plans, it's time for Craig to face a megalomaniac, world-treathening (well, parts of it ...) villan!

I agree... although nowadays I don't think they can do a "quality" Bond film every two years. In the old days, they did one EVERY YEAR! And each one was awesome.

If they could maintain a high production Bond film every two years, I would be all for it.

Quite remarkable what they achieved in shooting those first four films almost back to back. Nowadays, the average per film is nearer three years, and that is likely to continue. Let us just hope there are no more financial/legal issues any time soon.

With a physical showdown against a villain who is bigger, tougher, and meaner than him...after of course some unconnected PTS in a glamourous location where he gets the girl, and guess what SHE DOES NOT DIE !
Perhaps even some cool toys ( not a Maplin £5 kiddie radio)

Please God let it not be true. Skyfall was like a Bond theme conceived in a test tube, an ersatz Bond theme of badly strung together cliche that almost echoed past glories. Lets move forward please.

Adele couldn't pronounce words correctly to save her life. I like the song Skyfall, but the way she sang it killed it.

Adele, Sam Mendes, Ralph Finnes, Ben Wishaw, maybe even Albert Finney could be in Bond 24.
