Christian Thriller Fiction Genre - Any Recommendations?

Are there any recommendations for novels/films from the Christian Thriller Fiction Genre?

I have a few titles in this genre and a few followers on Twitter who write this kind of apocalyptic stuff.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions any member here on AJB may have? :)

    Try the Frank Peretti thrillers, like Peircing the darkness, monster. They are based on Christian beliefs of Demonic activity and have some over powering themes that connect to the Bible etc. Very entertaining as well.

    My wife is a big fan of Dee Henderson's novels...they're along the lines of espionage, crime thrillers. I haven't read them, but my wife says I'd enjoy them - and she knows me pretty well. For 'Indiana Jones' type novels, I've enjoyed the Babylon Rising series by LaHaye/Jenkins (authors of the Left Behind Series).

    A friend of mine also recently recommended Peretti's books.

    I just recently purchased The Fourth Reich - An End-Times Novel by Robert Van Kampen, also of this genre of Christian Apocalyptic thrillers. I find this a truly fascinating genre of thriller fiction. A crossover with James Bond would make a most welcome future continuation novel, if anyone from IFP ever reads this post. -{

    What is this genre? Is it using Christian mythos for story foundations, a la The Da Vinci Code? Or is it fiction written for Christians in some way?

    It's the former of those: using Christian mythos for story foundations. :)

    Yes. One of the best Christian thrillers I have ever read is a novel entitled, The Amulet. Found it on Amazon (and Kindle). It's three parts and I would say as good or better than anything Peretti has ever written.

    It can also be a little bit of the latter in the sense that the storyline is not based on any Christian premise, but the characters are Christians and written in such a way that their behavior or history is modeled after applicable Christian principles
