As the title suggests, whats your favorite Bond outfits and also your least favorite, but explain why they are if you could and also if one is your absolute Favorite. My favorite are:
1. TND's terrorist bazaar outfit-I love this outfit because it blends in with the terrorist gathering in the cold, mountain environment perfectly but the leather jacket gives an iconic look to it, not to mention its worn in one of the best Bond openings ever.
2.Skyfall Shanghai outfit-I think every bit of this outfit is perfect and looks great on screen, great job by DC for wanting the Billy Reid Pea Coat in the film.
3.Skyfall "Enjoying Death" outfit-I love this particular outfit because we see it worn when Bonds down and out and on his prolonged vacation in Turkey, and besides the ridiculously overpriced Levi's jacket i like how the clothing items aren't highly priced fashion items that fit with the location but also show that Bond's not his usual perfectly dressed self (shirt untucked, sleeves rolled up, shirt wrinkled and unbuttoned)
4. Quantum of Solace Greene's party suit-the perfect suit in my opinion
least favorite:
1. Any suit from Casino Royale- After the stellar Tom Ford suits worn in QOS and SF (though a bit tight) the suits from CR look off the rack and dont fit Craig's frame as well.

Comments
Really liked the Mathis Villa attire, particularly the Tom Ford Shawl cardigan. Would dearly love to know the make of the cardigan in CR (maybe Smedley?) when he's sat on the yacht speaking to M.
Tbh the CR suits didn't bother me. Thought DC wore them well.
Really not a fan of a lot of Moore's outfits. The casual stuff was hideous & the suits didn't hold the classic look of those that SC wore. Maybe I should temper this view with the thought that they may have been the look or style of the time, but they really don't age well IMO.
For me, best outfits include:
Connery's Prince of Wales check suit and navy silk knitted tie in Goldfinger and Thunderball
Moore's navy Blazer and beige chinos in For Your Eyes Only
Brosnan's navy Birdseye suit and Sulka tie during the St Petersburg scenes in Goldenye, and his grey suit and brown & navy Turnbull & Asser tie in Hamburg in Tomorrow Never Dies
Craig's PTS navy pinstripe suit and TF tie in Quantum of Solace, followed by the Tallmone outfit and the Haiti dark shirt and white jeans
The lodge outfit in Skyfall.
weve all copied it ,wore mine last night, the worst outfit and im supprised its not been mentiond
lately is that hideous 1 piece sky blue toweling combo worn by Connery ,ugh .
1. The Blue Overcheck Glen-check suit, blue shirt and knitted tie worn by Lazenby in OHMSS
during office break-in scene. Best suit of the 60s Bonds.

2. The GoldenEye Prince of Wales Check Suit during briefing of Bond by M

3. Of course THE Goldfinger suit

4. The Country outfit from Goldfinger, seems to be the same as in Thunderball

5. The Istanbul suit from Skyfall

1. Sunspel polo shirt and beige trousers. CR
2. Meeting Mathis cardigan outfit. QoS
3. Bahamas arrival suit. CR
4. Hamburg blue suit, shirt and tie. TND
Worst outfits have got to be loads from the Roger Moore era, although I do feel these items just haven't stood the test of time. Fashion is a fickle thing. Oh, and finally, even though I adore OHMSS I cringe every time I see Bond walk down the staircase in those ruffles on his dinner shirt...ugh! And wtf was that brown track suit? Anyone for golf?
Loved the suits in QOS, and the blue Goldfinger one.
Liked all of the Brosnan era of clothes.
and honestly haven't really noticed the rest.
no 2 shanghai
no 3 bond visiting mathis,
my top 3 are based on what fans can easily get, to look the part. other than the TF cardy lol..
and it a very recognisable Bond look
Skyfall Shanghai outfit. Clean, cool, rich, simple yet elegant.
CR Bahamas arrival suit and Persol's. Serious, understated yet classy, and ready for action.
CR Bahamas Sunspel polo and Ted Baker jeans. Low key, simple yet masculine and high quality. Bond at his casual best. Besides, that outfit reminds me of how my dad dressed.
The dark suit in QOS. Sharp, luxurious, cut for action yet elegant. This is a Bond suit.
Don't like,
Any suit with stripes or patterns. Those make Bond look like a business exec rather than sophisticated, world traveling spy/hitman.
I was wondering about the CR yacht cardigan as well. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure it's by sunspel, which wouldn't surprise me. It looks awfully close to the one on their website.
"...It was the job we were chosen for"...
- Sean Connery's suits from GF, DN, FRWL, YOLT, particularly the one he wears in GF when in Qs workshop-to me possibly the best Bond suit ever, narrow, simple tie, slim navy coat, white shirt, clean and crisp-some may say it's boring and conservative, but I don't think it will ever look "dated"
- QOS Haiti "McQueen" look: the TF108s are IMO the best looking, most timeless sunglasses ever. I even had to get a pair and am super happy with them. The Riviera is also clean and timeless, not an overly formal and conservative outfit either.
- CR Miami airport: the leather jacket stands out with the plain gray shirt. A slightly tougher look, but not overly cowboy/western/biker gang which I find happens too much with leather.
- Skyfall Shanghai outfit: I think it stands out to many fans. One of THE best ever, again classic and timeless. Peacoats have survived over 60s about of fads and trends, very military looking as well.
- TB beach with Domino: very classic vintage to me, especially with the ray ban style sunglasses.
- GF golf: more conservative to me, I only really like it because I'm an avid golfer!
OHMSS ski outit: quite slick, mostly because it's one of my all time favourite scenes
- skyfall tuxedo: THE best I think in the series: wide lapels, the navy blue stands out from the ordinary black everyone wears
Least favourite:
- virtually all clothing from DAR very tacky 70s look, oversized, Loud, contrasting colours. Felix Leiter's suit at the Elrod House...THE worst suit I think I've ever seen.
- OHMSS tuxedo: the ruffled look is bulky and horribly ugly
- OHMSS cream suit in hotel: pink shirt under if I recall correctly, kind of loud and makes him look like a drug cartel or pimp lol
"...It was the job we were chosen for"...
Least favorite... Connery wearing denim overalls in NSNA
Hate the brown outfit from OHMSS bond wears on the way to meet Tracy's father for the first time.lazenby redeems himself later in that super cool ski suit! Moore's sky blue matching jacket and trousers in LALD worn over a vest is so bad it's comical.
1.SF 2.CR 3.OHMSS 4.DN 5.YOLT
Connery's suit when he infiltrates Osatos building and cracks the safe
Moores blue Bogner skijacket
Don't like:
All TF suits, they appear too "sharp" to me and will be outdated pretty soon imo.
...and the GF mountains are in switzerland btw :v
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Meeting Mathis outfit or QOS Harrington /jeans combo.
easy to replicate on a budget and so cool looking.
Dislikes.
most of what Moore wears..
MR-Dark Blazer w striped tie
FYEO-Rock Climbing outfit
LD-Gilbraltor outfit
CR-Sunspel polo w Baker Pants
QOS-Polo w/ white jeans (before he puts on the Y-3 jacket) It seems that they were trying too hard sometimes to "McQueen" Craig in QOS
SF-Lodge outfit...Perfect !!! They really nailed this one
Least fav : Brosnin's ties
Bond's blue ski suit in OHMSS
Bond's attire when he raids Palmyra in Thunderball
Worst
That pink tie and shirt combination in DAF
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
1. GoldenEye 2. Goldfinger 3. Skyfall 4. OHMSS 5. TWINE
1. GoldenEye 2. Goldfinger 3. Skyfall 4. OHMSS 5. TWINE
I suppose some of Mr C's wardrobe in CR-06 was very nice, and I liked the cut and style of both Mr Dalton and Mr Brosnan's suits in their films too.
I do frown at the Craig era Tom Ford suits, but only because the costume designer insists he wears them two sizes too small! Its unfair to the tailoring as well as the actors. The styles fabrics and colours are usually very nice.
Only outfit I really don't like, even in the context of the timeframe, is the terry toweling romper outfit Sir Sean wore in Goldfinger.
Pierce wears it in Goldeneye in Cuba when they're trying to find Trevelyans lair. He's wearing it in the Z3.
Don't forget DC wears it in Casino Royale too, when he gets off the plane inThe Bahamas.
And Sir Rog was always wearing similar outfits, eg TSWLM, though usually with a tie.
So pretty much a Bond wardrobe staple!
Worst Sean - Apart from the obvious short towelling onsie, the velour track suit from NSNA.
Best Rog - Overcoat and black gloves from LALD New York scenes.
Worst Rog - Apart from jeans flares and vest combo from LALD, the dressing gown from FYEO makes me wince, I always hope his balls won't pop out!
And I don't even mind the Safari suits!
The GF Switserland suit. Great colour, great cut
TND Hamburg break in. Okay, so it is business atire, Brosnan wears it like a king, like he did with most clothing.
The suit that Dalton wore during the Pushkin interrogation. Looked good on him.
The break in scene of OHMSS in the lawyers office.
The suit Connery wore in GF after the plane landed, was great also. However not something I could wear today, unless going to a wedding.
The worst:
Almost all for Moore. His clothes were horrible and exceptionally dated. the safari suits were the absolute worst.
Hated the tuxedo of OHMSS also and the golf attire was terribly too.
Than of course there are the fashion blunders with the kilt and the clown suit.
Bet dresser: probably Brosnan and Connery as a tie. Both of them wore the best clothing.
1. Connery 2. Craig 3. Brosnan 4. Dalton 5. Lazenby 6. Moore
