Daniel Craig's James Bond outfits master thread

I decided that it will be a lot easier to have everything in one thread connected with the outfits. My strategy will be quite strict, I will not make another picture until we find every single piece from the previous one. I will edit the pictures every time someone will find the right piece, the reason because of which I'm doing this is the god damn cardigan from the CR PTS scene and I want to find it finally! Here we go with the first one, from the beginning:

The Ralph Lauren cardigan is only a speculation. The info about Bond wearing also Sunspel underwear apart from the t-shirts was mentioned on the official Sunspel blog in 2006 I think. As for the rest: only my guesses.

I'd be more interested in the shawl cardigans that he wears. They're very simple, black, and wool.

That's all I want in a cardigan, no cable knits, no flimsy "wear with a tie", something chunky and masculine.

Unfortunately cardigans that meet my criteria are very hard to find.

NPeal did have a cardigan which almost fit the criteria (cashmere) but not in their S/S range

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:awnrKjONIsMJ:www.npeal.com/categories/all-cashmere-knitwear/products/shawl-cardigan-with-leather-buttons+npeal+shawl&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

Give them a call and they may be able to do a special order (they can make it in any colour from their current range!) or it might be back for A/W13

    Hope this helps!

That's the point! I want to start from the very beginning anyway, so that we can analyse one outfit after another in the same order as they appeared in the movies.

If you are going down that route of tackling them in order, then we are going to be stuck on this costume for a long long time and we'll never get to the others. It's been seven years now and we still haven't ID'd most of it.

Fraid Simon and Aspy are right.

And if you think the cardy may be Ralph Lauren, coat Brioni, pants Bakers, etc, why not show us pictures of what you have in mind so we can give you our opinions?

Considering that the whole scene is in black and white (and he's seated), won't we need a pretty significant contribution from people who were actually involved with the film to ID most of these pieces? This seems like it could be one of the worst outfits to start with.

One of the members here told me that the cardigan was probably a Ralph Lauren. As for the other things: only guesses. It's obvious we need some help from people that were involved in the movie, but the point is: that's true, we're stuck on this outfit for 7 years now and counting, if we want to change that we have to work on it. There must be a member here who has CR costume designer contact details or something. Here are pictures in colour in high res of the outfit, but only the upper part.

It's really a hard task to complete, I know that. But damn, I know there are members out there who have some knowledge that may help about this outfit! :(

Gant cardy? He wore the same one to premiers and it has knitted squares around each button (common with Gant)

I haven't found a Gant with the same amount of buttons, but I also thought these were quite similar.

It could be a Ted Baker cardigan (someone mentioned that already a few years ago), because the one here looks quite similar (the collar size for example)

Has this thread ground to a halt? Pity if so, I'm intrigued by the outfit in the next scene, the second of the kills. But not sure this thread will ever get there?

I have that suit and love it, the shirt is actually a cotton chambray blend and is the same pattern as the ocean club shirt (has Epaulette's)

Who made the shirt and suit?

I know this thread looks dead but I'm still looking every day for the jumper/cardigan Bond is wearing in the scene. I'm thinking GANT/Ralph Lauren might have been really the choice back then, what if it was somthing like this? (just wrong colour). This one is from RL.

    4322520057_2.jpg

EDIT: All right, now I see it's a dead end because one of the lower buttons is also visible, so it was definitely a button up from the very bottom of the sweater.

I don't know who made the sweater, but it appears that Craig may have kept it after filming was completed, as seen in this 2007 photo: http://www.justjared.com/photo-gallery/2421460/daniel-craig-girlfriend-01/fullsize/

It looks to me like the Casino Royale PTS cardigan.

    Hey George,

I believe many have noted here that the cardigan DC wears in the PTS of "Casino Royale" might be the same as seen here -

    Details seem to match up.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

EDIT: BLU8, you beat me to it.

I always thought it was GANT since I believe he wore there stuff back then and they had a lot with the square pattern around the buttons

I was going to post every outfit as soon as we will get the previous one right. Currently we're stuck on the very first one... Btw. I new about the fact that he wore it to Infamous premiere and I also thought the details seem to be quite "gantish", but since Mr Zaristky mentioned it was rather from Ralph Lauren (or at least that's what he heard somewhere) I started looking in that direction. But I also keep searching for a similar GANT one.
