Your Favourite 3 Consecutive Bonds?

chrisisallchrisisall Western Mass, USAPosts: 9,062MI6 Agent
What's your favourite three Bond films in a row?
Classic DN, FRWL & GF?
Craig's so far?
The Moore FYEO, OP & AVTAK triple threat?
The Mankiewicz trilogy? :))

Mine is Tim's two + Goldeneye. The Daltonator is my favourite Bond, and enough of a lingering air of that take drifted into GE that I can see it on almost the same level. Plus, these three are some of the smaller Bonds, not relying on mega-budgets to do their dirty work for them.

Your turn. -{
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

I have to go with the Craig Trilogy. I'm very happy with this era's Bond films.

I do agree with you that TLD-TLK-GE make a fine three Bonds.

Dr No, FRWL and Goldfinger is the first that springs to mind.

I also like OP, AVTAK and TLD as mentioned above by Zorin Industries.

and definitely Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and TWINE.

That's almost my Top 10 right there! Missing Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker
    My current 10 favorite:

    1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK

Craig's three. I think they are three slick films when you understand them.

I had considered that but QOS pulled it down.

Tempting, but given the choice I shifted to the right and included The Living Daylights. Too good of an opportunity to pass up!

The first three in the series, of course! Connery's initial trio of films has yet to be surpassed.

The top 3 Bond films... TLD, LTK, GE. Pretty much the perfect Bond films in my eyes. Though, if Skyfall had been better I might have argued for Craig's three. CR and QoS are both right there in the mix as well.

I'm gong to wade in with Goldfinger, Thunderball, and YOLT - for their sheer exuberance and spectacle. The Bond formula was perfected, and Connery was at his most urbane.

I'd also consider Brosnan's first three and Craig's three as top notch threes.

The first three: Dr No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger ranks 3, 1 and 4 respectively on my list of personal favourites.

Then there's the Dalton era: The Living Daylights is my 6th favourite film, Licence to Kill my 7th, and GoldenEye my 10th favourite.

WOW! That's LITERALLY 3 Bonds in a row!

For me, it's going to be either GF, TB and YOLT... I love the style of those three OR TB, YOLT and OHMSS since OHMSS is tops in my book.

I'll add my voice to the strong case being made for TLD, LTK and GE.
Dalton is the man and every Bond seems to have an excellent first film.

YOLT, OHMSS and DAF for three different styles and a sense of Bond moving from the 60s into the 70s.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

For me: Dr no,FRWL, and goldfinger. My favourite bond is DC but QOS was a massive disappointment and would struggle to make my top ten. Dr No is my favourite Connery film and goldfinger one of my least favourites of his.... Still IMO the best 3 in a row by far.
