Wow, I think that the serious, realistically gritty, soul-wrenching direction the reboot has taken will actually make a fantastic set-up for Bond vanquishing a super-villain on Mars and diddling his all-female cadre of henchmen, ahem, henchwomen, as his reward. Cheers! -{ :007)

Another Moonraker? No thanks! There are several moments in Skyfall that are quite fun, and the rest is pretty entertaining too. That works fine for me.

I too thought they got the Balance between Humor/action and Drama just
about right with Skyfall. It reminded me of the early Connery stuff. I think
the One Liners for Craig work best with a touch of cruelty as in "It's the
Circle of life " line. )

And yet you have LTK and QoS in your Top 5 Bond films. Two of the least fun Bond films of all (I like them both though.)
