I have a few questions about the character of Magda in Octopussy.
1. Was she Kamal's girlfriend? Or even slightly romantically linked ?
2. Why did she live in the Monsoon Palace and not on Octopussy's island ?
3. Do you think Magda's character should have been Octopussy instead? Kristina had a lot more screen time than Maud and the way she revealed her tattoo leads the audience to believe that she is Octopussy.

and thought she was at the Monsoon palace to keep an eye on him as
he and Octopussy were working together but probably didn't totally
trust him.
I was happy to have Maud as Octopussy and think Kristina made a good
second in command villain.
