There was also a nod to the Speedmaster moon watch. Astronauts on the moon and so forth.

    Very nice work.

But do they realise that in the period of time the DB5 evokes, James Bond was actually a ROLEX wearer.... :p

    :)) :)

Yeah Bond's only been wearing an Omega and driving a db5 for just 18 years 8-)

DB5 looks like a car from the 1990's to you, Jeff, does it? ?:)

You're an ignorant plank then, because you know EXACTLY the jocular point I was trying to make - the DB5 is a 60s Bond car, a 60s icon; in the 60s Bond wore Rolex.

Seems you want a ruck, Geff, rather than just see the joke? 8-) :(

Unusual turn off phrase there, Geff, for someone NOT looking for a barney.

But fair enough, Geff. Leave you to it.

Can we please try and just get along without the baiting and bickering...?...there isn't a need for it and it just reflects badly on the site...we are all so much better than this type of behavior....

    Thank you....

Try to think about the fact who an average advert recipient is. He's not thinking about the fact in which era the DB5 was produced or if Bond was wearing Rolexes back then, so there should be no connection at all. It's simpler than that: the first thing that crosses ones mind after seeing a silver DB5 is James Bond. That's what the ad makers tried to deliver. Period. :)

Awesome video! Very clever to use the Aston Martin.

I find that I'm starting to dislike the style of the Omega watches slightly, following Goldeneye. The blue bezel watch in Goldeneye was probably my all time favourite, because it was so similar to the style of the first Rolex watches worn by Sean Connery. I think that design needs to stay unchanged, it's so iconic for me.

It'll be interesting to see how the style of Omega watches changes in the next Bond movies!
