Would Dougray Scott have been a good Bond ?

I understand that he was in the running during the Craig selection, but was ultimately rejected because he was too old (Crap, I'm older than him by a few months !). Whenever I watch Mission Impossble 2, I notice his combination of handsomeness and menace.....I think he could have made a very good Bond. Your thoughts....?

I always thought so too. Particularly the Scots accent which would have been a great is both to Bond's heritage and to Connery, he has the looks and the voice to have been a good Bond.

I get the sense that he's the kind of guy blokes think are good looking but women don't necessarily.
