I've always liked John Barry's space themes so it's a tie between Space March (YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE), 007 & Counting (DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER) & Flight Into Space (MOONRAKER).
In Octopussy when The clown gets a knife in the Back trying to cross the river at the start. I've
always thought the opening bars sound like the start to "The Avengers" TV series. {:)
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
The track during the beach fight and when Blofeld drops his grenade in the bobsled in OHMSS
Yes I like all of the OHMSS soundtrack, but recently got the AVTAKill CD that I didn't have and
the 2nd track-"Snowjob" with Bond evading the Russians by skiing is a good rousing brass music.
The track "He's Dangerous" is similar.
I play them all in rotation in the car on the CD player.
Bleuville. "She should have kept her mouth shut!" FRWL.
I'm fond of Monty Norman's score for Dr No/ I like the piece when Bond fights Mr Jones. The same piece also occurs when Bond stabs the guard in the back when they are being tracked by sniffer dogs
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"
What a difficult choice! I've personally always sat in Barry's corner, so I usually break them into the moods he's after in the tracks.
In the romantic/lush strings-violins tracks:
Journey to Blofelds Hideaway - OHMSS: Soaring/majestic.
Alpine Drive (GF)
Cafe Martinique (TB) - Barry at his most creative: takes the blaring theme of the
of the film and turns it into one of the most bittersweet,
romantic tracks of all his soundtracks.
Try (OHMSS)
In the action/suspense tracks:
Stalking (FRWL)
Auric's Factory (GF)
Dawn Raid on Fort Knox (GF)
Chateau Flight (TB)
Bond Below Disco Volante (TB)
Capsule in Space (YOLT)
A Drop in the Ocean (YOLT)
This Never Happened to the Other Feller (OHMSS)
Gumbold's Safe (OHMSS)
Inflight Fight (TLD)
Great topic! It's hard to pick a single track among so many, but I'm glad a few people have mentioned Into Miami - I love it.
I'm currently co-hosting a James Bond podcast called Q-Branch and we discussed music in the last episode (#4). I (think) I mentioned Into Miami, in my 3 choices although I had a tough job whittling it down to 8.
The book entitled "The Music of James Bond" by Jon Burlingame is a really great read for fans of Bond movie music, as well as Bond fans in general. I highly recommend it.

It's one of the books I keep meaning to buy. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yes I've read bits of the book in a bookshop-one day I'll buy it !
I like all the John Barry music and have all the soundtracks. OHMSS a favourite.
I was listening to the YOLT extended tracks and there is "James Bond in Japan" which is
a medley of several pieces of music running for over ten minutes.
The flute "burial at sea" music is marvellous.
Bleuville. -Moneypenny"We tried to think of a memorable phrase. I Love You.-Repeat please!" 007 -"Don't worry-I get it!"
I've just seen that one of the great Bond composers, David Arnold is giving a debut concert at the Royal Festival Hall on July the 6th. Going to feature music from Casino Royale, The World is Not Enough, Quantum of Solace, Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day. http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whatson/david-arnold-live-in-concert-82795
I do love the big orchestral pieces so OHMSS Journey to Blofeld's Hideaway and CR City of Lovers are among my real favourites.
As if choosing your favourite title song wasn't hard enough! Picking a definitive list is almost impossible ?:) I hope for a return to some more elaborate pieces of music in Spectre as Skyfall was disappointing in this regard.

That's a favorite of mine as well. Although AVTAK is at the bottom of my list of Bond films, I like the soundtrack quite a bit.
Officially known as "Dawn Raid On Fort Knox" and "Exercise At Gibraltar" - two excellent choices!
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
Which one?
Got it! I also listen to that tune a lot when I'm driving. It's really beautiful and puts me in a relaxed mood.
Naturally.... 8-)
Roger Moore 1927-2017
The song, not the drug!!!!! 8-)
