007 & his cocaine use

8-) I was watching LTK, which I really enjoy. However there's always one scene that confuses me.

When 007 is fighting with Dario they end up on a conveyor belt. This is where the blocks of pure cocaine are being fed into a crusher. Now we all know the scene & eventually Bond is hanging over the crusher by only his wrist ties.

Now what confuses me is that there is all this pure cocaine dust flying around him & he obviously inhales a lot of it. But there are no effects. He calmly is saved and wonders off to complete his mission. He's not thirsty nor does he feel the need to stick on some Euro techno & dance, neither does he feel the immediate need to seduce Pam or feel the need for anther wee line by he films end.
Tell me, does the toppling of American missiles really compensate for having no hands?

:)) Well he is Bond, so it wouldn't have the same effect on him as it would on the rest of us mere mortals. But good point I'd never thought of before. {[]

What do you mean the cocaine had no effect? It turned him into Remington Steele!

He prefers his cocaine shaken, not stirred.

Perhaps he didn't inhale as much as we all think he did. Dario couldn't of inhaled too much either, he screamed and yelled when he fell into the crusher. If he inhaled a lot, he would've been numb and not felt a thing.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope
